I was reading through my old PE thread and decided to pick up another 6 pineapple express beans. Solid yield, great smell, great any time high.. and I know how it grows.. Only spent $85 total including the tshirt, beans, and shipping. Ordered around 11pm, and attitude said it was shipped around 6am,
. Good deal
.
Anyway, I've been doing some
serious work the last few nights. And don't have a place to share, so I hope it's ok to share here. I'm practically done setting up the dream configuration for personal medicine
. I've been so focused on greasing all the wheels... making everything cool, over-compensating, and making things comfortable for me to work, that I have sort of forgot what I am doing. Now that they are in the flower room it's blowing my mind thinking about how good this bud is going to be. I fucked up with the 250w and the bud still turned out
amazing. I can't imagine what a 4x4 SCROG with 1000w HPS at 20" @ 78F is going to produce, quality wise.
Let me know what you think.
The first pics under MH are the plants just chilling and vegging. They must be a month and a half to two months from seed. They are under 400w MH, I think I will be upgrading to 600w though next run. I upgraded the hood from 6 inch yield master II, to an 8 inch block buster. Both have the gasketed glass that lowers on one side to access the bulb/clean the glass. Super handy, no worries about dropping a huge piece of glass on the plants or the ground!
The third pic in is the first plant getting put under the 1000w HPS. Fucking awesome if you ask me, super intense. I've never actually seen a 1000w in its natural habitat until that moment. Thought I should capture it. The 4th pic is one of the stalks, the 5th pic is the 4 headbands finishing up day 1 of 12/12, after they went under the screen. I expect them to perk up in the next couple days. The 6th picture is the condensation on this ducting. The air running through the hoods is actually
so cold that it forms morning dew on the exhausts. The 1000w hood is cool like a glass of ice water while it's running. It's pretty amazing. The ducting runs from the attic, into a 700 cfm 8 inch max fan, into the 1000w hood, and into the next tent with the 400w hood, and back up into the attic. Temps were maintaining at 74F with the hood 19" from the canopy.
Crazy awesome. Hope you don't mind the share!
It's very tempting to start a journal, but it feels odd with this much.
My only question, is how big are these gonna get? Last run they stretched between 2x and 2.8x.
