I'm from Alaska and worked on the north slope for over 5 years. DRILL DRILL DRILL!!!! And they need to build the fkn gas line to Canada too that they have been talking about for several years.

You would think Alaska would have the highest number of bunny loving tree huggers. Realistically, the bunny huggin' tree lovers are the natives that have "rights" to land that they are never on 
Everyone that has no part of native land, wants a piece of it. We are all waiting on ANWR and NPRA to open up so that we can pay the silly land owners their money so we can do something with the land that they are never gonna do anything with except watch the grass roll in the wind.

So america should build a pipeline through our country for canada, provide Temporary jobs for us, so canada can export the oil? Doesn't make sense to me, but neither does the fact that I'm payng almost 4$ a gallon for gas with 10% corn syrup and our biggest export here in America has been natural gas and oil.

The gas line will run from the north slope to calgary? if I remember right, were the gas can be refined into liquified gas.
Right now, they either inject it back into the formation to keep underground pressure, or they vent it off via flares. They simply have more gas than they know what to do with.
Either way, oil and gas lines create environmental hazards (not like i give two shits about the environment). So money and environmentalists have this one on hold.

yes they should build a pipline through canada the facts are simple we buy oil from the middle east to supply the east coast with oil and gas because building a pipeline from alaska to lets say newyork would cost billions and would face huge public protests so we just import it

But don't we buy liquified gas from China too? Since we have no way to get it to the refineries?

All the gas being vented and wasted should be piped for the public domain. It seems Energy producers waste 10 btu's of gas for every 1 btu of oil.
They need to stop the waste of Natural Gas before putting in more Oil Pipelines. The Energy Dept. turning a blind eye to the waste, and leaving it up to the EPA to control, is just stupid. jmo.

we need to push for a new resource other then fossil fuels.. we are doing nothing but depleting our earth of it's resources,what about future generations? just shit all over them i guess, why not, i'm getting mine...
fossil fuels is the biggest joke in years.. they keep us hooked up by their life lines at the gas stations and have us at our knees.. we pay $5 a gallon and don't require them to look for alternatives..
