in-laws are a sore spot for me, I feel your pain. I work with it the best I can but it's like these people are from another planet.

Wtf... hahaha...

Just got back in from extended family festivities... had to leave the ladies unattended a couple days and am glad to say it seems to have gone alright... cracked the windows to keep the room from overheating (been keeping the door to the bedroom closed to keep cats out til the closet door is done) and it got down pretty low so it was a bit colder than usual and slowed growth a little, but they look good. Bushy bushy. No purpling so it couldn't have gotten that cold.

Will take a new batch of pics tomorrow... I am wiped out!

Bein' lazy bout taking lots of new pics, but growth just keeps blowing up. I've got to get my hands on some deer fencing soon so I can make scrog half-tubes over the tops, otherwise I'm never gonna have enough support for the ridiculous quantity of side buds.

My herijuana is lagging behind the others, and the node spacing is like twice as wide as the others. Not sure what happened there. The first couple nodes are tight, but then they got up to like 2 inches apart above that.

I have heard herijuana is a light yielder... does this have something to do with that? With so many fewer branches there is noticeably less foliage covering it than the others.

So I decided to go in with a fixture and a bulb splitter, added the two heavy-weight CFLs I have to the back right behind the herijuana. Maybe the extra light concentrated on that one plant in particular will help balance things out. And if not, at least I've killed the dark spot behind the fixture.

Just found some 2" mesh netting, (9'x4') supposed to be for a baseball catch or whatever... 15 bucks shipped on ebay. Done and done. Now I'm gonna build a couple trim-frames to mount to the sides of each rolly. I'm picturing 3-4 support beams per side, per rolly. (one in each corner plus 1 or 2 along each side)

I'll just attach vertical strips of some edging I have handy, then have a cross beam at the top to help stabilize them all together. Should do the trick without blocking much light at all the way I'm imagining... I'm gonna draw up a little schematic I think...

9x4 should be juuuust enough to make it work, i think. I'll cut it in half the long way and have two 4x4.5' pieces to work with... should be perfect.

Ladybugs like to swarm into our house late fall...I find them all over the place, alive and dead... so I've been grabbing the alive ones and droppin' em in my closet, hehe. Couldn't hurt.

Just make sure you only keep the red ones with black spots, not those orange bastards they be imposters.

Check out my dwarf bottom left in that last pic... when I stunted the germinating seeds, this one barely survived but grew absolutely tiny, really close to the soil surface. She's still alive, but just for fun. Not sure what the plan is with that. Maybe I'll throw it in a larger container and flower it out with the others for fun... might depend on how many males I end up culling...[/QUOTE]

I had a dwarf or some mutation where there was little stem growth but 6 whole sets of leafs on a 2 inch plant, I let it grow out of curiosity and the thing started to grow more like a grape plant whey it hit it's 6th week. I thought this would be great to put in the back yard witht the other vine plants and no one would be the wiser. Unfort. that was just before some punks broke into the out building where I was growing. Maybe I just missed it but I didnt see where you mentioned what it is. The plant I had was some
Black Dominia from a Spanish seed bank.

The stunted plant is Jackberry F3. Do you know what caused yours to dwarf? Mine was caused by accidentally letting the moisture get too low in the germination stage.

Read somewhere on here last night that you can delete old pics from albums, so I started adding to an album instead of doing direct attachments. Can't do anything about the past but moving forward at least I'll be able to clear 'em out if I want.

Look what I found:

And here's the set:

Couple extra giant CFL's added behind the Herijuana who's lagging behind:

No worries, we get dem good ladybugs up here. :]

Sometimes they fade to an orangey color when they're older, so i prefer other ways of identification... ladybugs have black heads and wings, while their lookalikes have orange/yellow wings and orange heads.

I still haven't started nutes yet because there was a good bit of worm castings in the soil, and I made a richer mix for the bottom of each pot so it should find more as it goes along... but I'm not seeing as much growth now so I'm thinking it might be time to start veg nutes. No discoloration yet, but I'd rather be pro-active... I believe I will do first veg. nute feeding with next water... what do you guys think?

Feed schedules with enriched soil are still a little boggling for me. It's not a super mix at all, but it does have a bit more worm castings so I didn't want to risk too much N.

Went ahead and ordered some flexible fiberglass rods to build the structural design for my scrog screens. I decided this would be an easier method, overall... I will just drill 1/4" holes about 1.5" deep, about an inch in on either side of the drip trays, then stick the fiberglass rods right down into those holes, creating a big U over the top. Then repeat at the other end and add one in the middle. (Picture those "dome" greenhouses made of PVC tubes)

I got a couple extra rods to attach along the sides in the "corners" of each dome for structural integrity and to support the netting. Then I got some 2" mesh netting to suspend over it. I just hope the fiberglass rods are rigid enough to do what I'm wanting... we'll see how it goes. :)

Also, I am STILL waiting on the hinges to come in (sorry giggles!!) but I have prepped the doorway and am just itching to get that door mounted.

What DID come, is my two 4" rope cleats, which I'll be putting up later today in place of the shitty hook and nail solutions i've been using.

Nice grow, that pic of looking "through" your grow is pretty awesome. That should yield quite a bit, keep us posted on the yield if possible.
