Drying in the cold

I just harvested and trimmed a few of my plants and hung them up to dry. I have them in my second bathroom with the door cracked and the vent fan on. I've done this before without any issues, but now winter is approaching and it has been getting really cold. I use electric heaters to heat individual rooms in my house, so the bathroom is not heated at all. The temps in there are probably 55*F at the coldest. Will this create any problems for my fresh buds? I would hate to loose them to bud rot or something terrible.

Found some other threads asking the same question. It seems that the lower temps will be fine as long as there is decent air circulation. The cold will slow the process but everyone is always talking about a slow dry so I guess this is a good thing. As long as there is decent air movement, (but no air blowing directly on the plants from what I hear) I should not have to worry about mold. My colas are small, (biggest is about 23g) so they should dry out just fine in about 10 days.

my experience has been that it is easier to dry in slightly cooler temps as long as there is decent air movement and it is relatively dry, no heavy humidity. it does take longer, but that leaves a bigger window to pick it at the perfect time to start the cure. during the heat of the summer, even with AC, the window between too wet and too dry to start curing can be ridiculously slim, as small as a few hours if it's hot and dry enough.
