Infact it could simply be programmed on the website to do this automatically. Aside from extracting the metadata you could also curl the web for the video pulling information to add to your summary automatically.

Boggles my mind why people are hired to do this and they just don't hire a programmer. I guees for "seo" reasons. The guy you are working for must be a dick if he doesn't have any programmer to tell him honestly that it can be done easily with code, he probably hires programmers from china.
