But the thing about colored handkerchiefs in the back pocket? Yeah.... Don't do that. Seriously. Don't.
Dude, no one says colored anymore.

Seriously though I've never seen anyone with anykind of handerchief in their back pocket.

Like it or not. How your appear does count. But we are talking ponytail and an earring. When it comes to tats. Expect to have a problem, it shouldn't but it does. Quite frankly, a waitress or waiter with tats all over wouldn't fly at a upscale restaurant, country club, or wedding. I've never seen a Fortune 500 executive with a boat load of tats or any executive assistants for that matter.
And I sure as hell am not leaving my daughter at a day care with anyone that has neck tattoos and thug life tattooed on their knuckles.

Years ago I worked in Manhattan and would hang out in greenwich village sometimes, the village was a cool place, you could roll a joint up and smoke it right in front of cops in the park. They would rarely mess with you. Anyways there's a large population of gays in the village and the guys would have bandanas hanging out of their back pockets. Now according to my mom's gay friend Ted, the bandanas where code for what you liked. Like if you had a yellow bandana in your left pocket it meant you liked to be peed on, if in the right pocket you liked to be the one doing the peeing. I think red was for masochism. We saw one guy who had all different colors bandanas out of both pockets, so I guess that guy was just up for anything. We laughed like hell after seeing him. So sometimes and in certain places those bandanas take on a whole other meaning.

good. Keep it that way. :p
Though a friend of mine would never say go straight when we were going somewhere. It was always forward. Once he came out it turned to gayley forward, I reminded him forward would be fine because the gayley part didn't work for both occupants. lol

No it was Ed, he used to do my piercings way back. Once he came out and I quit freaking out about it like a moron, I punched him in the arm for tweaking my nipples out of enjoyment not just because he was upping the gauge on them for his job

I try not to judge. But it is hard when I'm looking at t skull tattooed on the back of someone's head. I still don't understand why people want a permanent piece of art in their skin. My problem would be I like something this week and not so much the next week.

The problem here is with stereotypes regarding the type of people who get tattoos and what the tattoo is of.

I have seen some breathtaking bible verses tattooed on people in the most beautiful script, for example. Detailed portraits of deceased loved ones, scrollwork and vines celebrating the beauty of nature.. More people get custom tattoos these days instead of flash art, which may perpetuate the stereotype with the same old images of skulls and devils, sailor jerry stuff or profane images being recycled.

I design tattoos for people who understand that if something is going to be part of them for the rest of their life, it damn well better be perfect, have some meaning and not just be some kind of counter culture statement for the sake of it. Some tattoo work should really be in a gallery and some work (and indeed some people who get tattoos) make the entire industry look uneducated, thuggish and shameful.

The Victoria and Albert museum in London is a prestigious venue, with giant chandeliered, stained glass tearooms, marble staircases and more rich patrons than you could shake a stick at. Imagine my pleasant surprise upon turning up for an art trip with two other students with body modifications and both doing tattoo apprenticeships, when in comes a staff member covered head to toe in tattoos with 2 inch plugs in his ears. Very polite gentleman.

I'm thinking a skull tattoo on the scalp can be explained as ... a service diagram. I'd use it to negotiate a discount with a neurosurgeon. "Dude ... already did your layout!" Of course, a skull tattoo on a shoulderblade can be dismissed as false advertising. cn

We have a ton of older gentlemen down here that are trying to rock a mullet w/ponytail and a stud or dangly cross earring. Most look very good, but the ones that think they are hot lose the cool factor almost immediately.
