How much weight?

I'm a legal cardholder and currently have 6 plants almost ready. What's the deal with only being able to have 2.5 ozs? Each of my plants is around that weight. If I jar it and date it for every few weeks is that legit? Not too worried about the cops coming over but, would like to know where I stand on this. Thanks for any help.

Read the law, carefully and completely. There is language to cover what you are referring to. You are allowed sufficient quantities "in process" to ensure supply (paraphrasing).

Exactly. I cure in large Mason jars. Put a label on each with a date a couple months down the road. Your meds arent "ready" until that date and are considered not to be part of your weight limits. Happy turkey day Tet

Thanks guys. I thought using dates down the road would help with the legality of my crop. It does in fact take me at least a month to cure each jar. Sometimes more depending on how large my buds are. I know i'm allowed 2.5 zips every couple weeks. So when I harvest I will mark my jars accordingly. Thanks again.
