I want to start a screened in partially fenced garden next year but my yard is visible from street
The fencing shouldnt arouse any.suspiciom tho bc I live in deer land
But due.to neighbors lights and size issues I think autos are the way to go
Ill grow tomatoes peppers of all kinds and lots of other stuff but wht autos should I throw next to some.tomato cages?
I know spme hate on autos but I dont need giant plants n lbs on lbs
Plus the lightimg issues mke me think autos would worl nc the big atreet light wouldnt bother them
Also here u can grow up until december so I could harvest 4 maybe 5 times
So any reccomendations or advice
I was leanimg towards critical+auto brom big budda only bc its the boggest yielding auto iv run which only got a half from cfls and ive only tried dieselryder and bubblicious auto
Tips...suggestioms?

why dont you make a cheap lil greenhouse so no one can see whats inside or you could just grow out morning glories all along the fence (plus u can eat the seeds and trip your balls off lol) or why not just put in the work and train a normal sized plant to stay short and bushy thats not very hard at all.

May make lil greenhouse just thought temp fence would be lil cheaaper
Plus when I see greenhouses.it makes.me.think people.r.growimg weed.haha
Morning glories are good.idea and reg strain would be easy just use 100% indica n lots of trainimg but I have a giant streetlight in my yard amd neighbors have some mh barn light that wouldess up my cycle

Autos suck and do not grow well with less than 18 hours light. U will be let down growing them outdoors.

id like to see your research on this. I know tons of people who grow autos indoors and out. Autos are grown for all sorts of reasons outdoors. Small mold, disease, and pest resistant plants. The new hybrids out there make the 17% thc possible or even more. Id try some autos from Dinafem. They have auto white widow, blue widow, and few others. Just because the plant doesnt get 18 hours of sunlight doesnt mean it wont give good bud. Ive never heard such ignorant advice. Literally there is no fact behind what you said. SUre maybe you got a bad seed but now a days autos have there place. Most people grow autos due to location and makes easier to grow early season befor the solstice and get multiple harvests.

To the Orignal Poster i gave you a couple known good ones ive seen through and i suggest you read over in the Auto forums tons of good info. Dont let Azryda420 alter your decision. Autos make good meds too and some will give you a good cbd percent.

If you do end up doin autos start a few at different times. Say start one or two seeds then after a week start another and so on. Ive seen this done and many people do it with regular but with autos you take full advantage of the perpetual grow cycle and can harvest every week or so. I have personally grown out a few autos like pinapple express, auto white widow, and blue widow. The seeds were all freebies and all did great i planted them 3 weeks apart and harvested them all within 2 weeks. I had great results that spring/summer. Whats the point of even growing autos indoors.

I have ran diesel.ryder bublicious auto and critical+ auto
But I gave up on autos after that I know.i will yield.more outdoors and like ivsaid anything from outside would be extra and welcome
I hate when people hate on autos.. Ive had a few freebie autos id throw in corner of my tent that may yield an 8th after.three months but most will.yield 10 to 30 grams indoors so if I get that off a 5 pack of seeds ill be happy
And I agree im all about perpetual I lile to harvest every twp weeks at all times ha

My FIRST advice is make sure your screen/fence/wall complies with code. That or risk those bastards coming around. Codes enforcement is not only big revenue for a government but they report all kinds of stuff. They are required to as most are sworn officers.

You and me both Goodrow. My girls have to be Gorilla though =/
I have an eatery across the street that leaves stacks of 4 gallon buckets they get butter in out back. I've seen employees go load em up from time to time so I figured it'd be ok to grab a stack of 10 myself XD.
Was thinking about tossing some autos in them and throwing them up in some trees. I'm just wondering if I'd have the whole problem of getting rootbound or not. From what I understand about autos they have a pretty 'set' veg and flowering time and I've seen a lot of people post a gallon a soil/month is okay. Maybe someone can chime in on this for me.
I was planning on getting Autos out in early spring along with regulars. Maybe 2 batches of Autos spaced a month or so apart. The autos would give me 2 harvests while the regulars would have spring and summer to veg nicely for a good 3rd harvest in fall. The regulars would be going directly into the ground.
I already have spots that have been scouted out and very remote off an old unused State Park trail that isn't kept up anymore. I made it a point to hike up it several times during mid and late summer. When I had first went through it I put a small handfull of quarters down on a flat rock a few miles back in the middle of the trail and it stayed untouched for months and was still that way the last time I had been there in early Sept. I don't care who you are. If you see a couple quarters laying down on a rock you pick em up. No one can resist quarters.
One of the spots I had picked out last year turned out to be a disaster in the end. Was close to an abandoned campground that had literally been unused for a decade. It was a place I would go to and spend the night with a sleeping bag, boombox on full blast and a bottle of vodka from time to time. Never seen a person there and it was bushhogged in early spring every year and that was it. Spot was nice and secluded but close to there. After getting everything in the ground and doing normal check ups on my little buddies I rolled in there one morning to a terrible sight. The campground had been mowed. Old trees removed and new concrete tables put in places. Place was packed with random RVs and campers. Lots of people in tents too. The small lake inlet there had been landscaped and a sand bed dumped on it. All this done in the span of 3 weeks. I didn't bother going there to water because it rained weekly. Abandoned ship on that one even though but my buddies were still in their spots at that point. Curiosity got the best of me and I went there at the end of August. Decked myself out and covered up my face. Went out to em and they had all been ripped. Some you could tell were completely uprooted. Tattered parts of the newespaper pots were in random piles of dirt. Cigarette butts and 2 empty cans of Natural Ice at one patch lol.
2 out of my 3 spots survived though. They were started before I had discovered RIU. So my knowledge was limited to stuff I had learned via youtube after I quit being extremely paranoid about everything. Had a few I had started it pots after that to learn and practice things picked up from here. Topping. Low stress training etc. Had never done any of that prior.
This coming year I'll be out with a full blown mission.
1 Pick a strain that's all about weight and potency.
2 Get in there.
3 Train em like there's no tomorrow.
4 Be sitting here this time next year and post some pics of some fat ladies that some of the vets will hopefully say those look good man.
The smoke I got this year was enough to last me through the winter months. I made a few $ as well. Also got praise from my dad when I dropped off 3oz for him. We fired up his pipe on the back porch and he absolutely loved it. He's smoked since Nam so he judges harshly. Since his normal provider had passed away (good stuff too from him) the only thing he could get regularly is compressed brick mexi-mids =/
If all goes well there maybe invest in an indoor set up.

Also gonna run a few autos i still have seeds from that i need to use like pineapple express.. Also a new strain out dinachem, its orginal chemdog with quavadog to add vigor. Dinafem just released it a few months ago i beleive and i got 2 free white widow seeds and 1 free blue widow all 3 fems. Also im gonna throw this one seed i got from this years single plant. Idk how it pollinated but i have 1 seed from the whole harvest. I cant wait for next year

Yeah my deciding factors will have to also be able to deal with high humidity at all times. Not to mention June, July and August temps in the 90s on average during the day. Will most likely do a patch or two of some bagseed for laughs as well.
I know I've learned 210% more here than I ever could have hoped for and had a window to put a lot of it to practice. Which is why I'm going to go big and invest in some good strains. A friend of mine did an indoor white widow and easy rider grow. I had seen it through various stages of veg and through early flower. Didn't get to see the final product on a living plant but DID get to partake in a nice full bowl of easy rider after harvest. He had been learning as well but went the indoor rout and got a lot of pointers from the hydro shop guy where he got his lights and set up. Soil grow though.
I got totally ripped from it. Was out camping and I had to stop and focus on getting in my sleeping bag and getting it zipped up. Had this picture as a background on the comp at that time. I said I'm pretty close to being a ferret right now. The laughs didn't stop at that one.50316_159010574124021_2111_n.jpg

Thc in autos I have seen/grown never got near 17%
More like 8-13%....
IMO autos are a gimmick and grow shitty meds..I'm not sayin' they don't have their place...but I'm never going to grow them again...
I will stand behind what azryda said....
Oh and 90% of people who smoke weed could care less about cbds

. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Autoflowering_cannabis check that out. Like it says the first low ryder sucked dick so bad, people just think its all the same. Now a days its not uncommon to find a bad breed of strains but if you know who to get em from and what strains to go by then reaching even 15% THC isnt all that hard. Look at white widow auto. Defiantly a good potent strain. Sure it takes a small hit but i guruntee you with the strains out there 20% isnt at all impossible. Everyone has there views but ive personally grown autos a few years and i only had one bad one and that was with and auto haze. But other than that ive had great results dense sticky buds covered in resin. That was early this summer and last summer. Now theres even more auto strains. So dont think every auto is the same sure some suck and will give you 5% if that but the good ones out there can hit 15% no problem. Also if you smoke weed for MEDICAL purposes those CBDs are great especially with traumatic injuries or chronic pain.

All that being said i agree with you nothing will beat a photoperiod plant. The yield is unmatched by any auto even the newer super autos. Most times the THC content will be unbeatable but yet still close with new genetics being crossed every year and what not. But still autos are just another option. REG/FEM/AUTO its just like that. People have had amazing results people have had shitty results. If you buy from well know companies with good reputations then im sure youll get something good out of it. But what you orignaly said was if they get less then 18 hours of light they suck. That is what i called you out on. Idc about your opinion by all means i wont try and change your mind. Just dont make up some bullshit that you may have heard threw the grapevine. besides in summer theres tons more ligght then in say october/nov. People grow autos outdoors so they can get multiple harvests befor some even begin the transition.
