imagine if a job told you "ok do twice the work and ul get paid the same" i hope ud say "get bent" especially if it cost u money to do this work
$5/g X 30g/oz X 16 oz/lb = $2,400 per pound... For the grower. Doesn't include markup for the retailer. Sorry, Corso, but that is absurd for a weed. If the grower makes $1 per gram I will be astounded. My guess is good quality outdoor grown cannabis will gross the grower about $20 per pound, max. Indoor grown cannabis will all but disappear.3 a gram seems too low..5 is fair
That presents problems for growing Sinsemilla.Personally I hope to one day to see it as free and wild as Blackberries.
28.3g in an Oz, not 30. So more like $2,264 a lb. If people have no problem coughing up $6 for a beer at the local microbrewery here, I doubt $5 a gram will be a hard price to maintain in a "micro-growery" for lack of a better term. Until they make trimming machines that produce good product, at least. Much like alcohol, there will always be a large connoisseur market. Think of the end product from these massive outdoor grows as your PBR, then think of your $5+ a gram stuff as your local brewery that actually makes good beer. They will both get you drunk, yet people routinely pay 3x-5x more for the good stuff instead of a tall boy of 4 lokos. The overall price will drop, but the market will still have a place where those higher prices will be acceptable in my opinion.$5/g X 30g/oz X 16 oz/lb = $2,400 per pound... For the grower. Blackberries? I thought it was all iPhones now. That's why the Blackberries are free and wild ... cn28.3=oz
48 ears of corn= 1 bushel = $7
1 ear of corn @ safeway = .79 = $37
Not a bad profit, but lets sweeten it, Safeway owns the farm and receives subsidies.
The price will come down, but you will get what you pay for.

Kinda makes it more valuable! (Shhhh)That presents problems for growing Sinsemilla.

So you are a merchant after all.Kinda makes it more valuable! (Shhhh)
If you look into it, most legalization efforts do not cover concentrates. I would agree that the hash bar making a comeback is likely. Once weed is legal, it should make hash legalization easier though. GM weed is a going to take a while, so I wouldn't worry about that for some time to come. Though with the kind of money big corps can bring to bear, it may likely be faster than I think.Sans trimming equiptment
Hash will be the future
Hash and genetically modified weed

Wish it were so, but it does seem that neither WA nor CO made a provision for it. cnIf weed is legal then so is hash
Washington specifies buds, tinctures, and edibles. There is no mention whatsoever of hash. Hash is technically a potential felony in CA, 1oz or less of bud is an infraction, more than an oz of bud is still no worse than shoplifting as far as penalties go. With a rec, both are legal, but you can see the disconnect there. For some reason, concentrates have a stigma attached to them. I think it's because butane and alcohol extraction pose a danger if improperly purged. If weed is legal then so is hash
There are 48 states, some flat broke, who are 1 year away from seeing the tax dollars that legal, and/or, coming on line med.MJ.programs can produce.I think you guys are jumping the gun here, there are quite a few states who are 3-5 years away from even being med states, let alone being legal
Prohibition ended becuase they portrayed re legalization of alchohol as a jobs issueThere are 48 states, some flat broke, who are 1 year away from seeing the tax dollars that legal, and coming on line, med.MJ.programs are producing.
