Smoking and tattoos

If you can't handle your tattoos without taking some sort of pain reliever, then you shouldn't get tattooed. I can't stand when someone came into the shop all pilled out and doped up for pain. Can't handle it? Then it's not for you.

I wouldnt do it before. I didnt flinch or move or cry or make it obvious I was in pain while I was getting it done. It was only after wards that I needed to smoke for the pain. I would never show up all pilled up, you gotta take the pain for the tattoo

Yeah, the ankle seems like a sensitive spot. Inside arms, ribs, chest, stomach.. I'd like to get a lot of ink but those are some painful spots!

Outside arms, upper back, calves, probably alright..
I got one on the back of my calves and it hurt like a motherfucker. I have a lot of tattoos and the one on the calf probably hurt the most.

Idk what was worse for me the side of the skull or the armpit. Stomach was uncomfortable but not near as bad as either of those. Doing my throat here soon should be fun.

I have one on my hand and that one hurt too when it got down to the cuticles. I had to get that one done twice because it tends to fade on the hand for some reason. I also got a few good sized ones on my neck that didn't hurt as bad as I thought it would

the armpit sounds like the most painful.I always wanted to get one there

Armpit was stupid painful. Upper half of my body is pretty much covered and the armpit was the only one I almost said Fuck that Nevermind after the first line.

I got my whole inside bicep done first time. If you have an artist with a really good soft hand, then it's a calm gentle soothing pain for the most of the tattoo and only a few sharp strings. It felt therapeutic.

Afterwards it was just slightly swollen and sore. Pain-wise the whole experience is like a scraped knee to me, nothing. I just love tattoo's enough though

Just wow. Explains why i will go to my grave as tabula rasa. cn
Even tho some areas are a little rough to get done I find the whole process therapeutic . I have actually fallen asleep during a tattoo. And no I wasn't drunk or on pills ( not saying you would assume I was). Defiantly smoke plenty before during and after. But hey I do that for everything not just tattoos.
