I dont see it happening in a 30x30 space. My outdoor garden is a 36x30 space and I barely fit 18 and that was crowded. I'm only going to do 12 in there next year.

so, the two 600 watters are gonna extend the shortened daylight hours? Guess I aint following you here.
ok if he is starting outside now hes going to us the lights to make the days 18 and nights 6. other wise there going to flower. he needs a veg period. so hes going to have to us lights to do that.....and my estimate isnt for a 30inch by 30 inch green house i though he meant feet. my bad but he should still be able to get close to what he needs. that is small and tight

but the way i read its 30ft x 30ft. if he had longer to veg he could pull alot pounds. but he doesnt only a month

oh im high as shit. i read he wanted 12 oz. not 12 a plant. 20lbs. yeah not gonna happen. maybe if you have 3foot plants rt know. but that way to many in that small space. maybe if you go dwc in or hydro. you could speed up the veg and keep them small but you would need 90plants or more. just not enough time. to grow big plants and not enough air flow with big plants

ok so update yes i want 20 pounds NOT ozs the plants will flower under just the sunlight in April and May. The lights are to help them veg which is going to be around 7 weeks then 9 weeks to flower harvesting in the first or second week of may. They will be in 25 gallons of soil and should get pretty big. The coldest it gets here is low 30s high 20s F and then there is really good solar output even when it is cold. My thinking is even with not optimal sunlight there is still more lumens per sq ft then a 400-1000 watt light could put out.

I just don't think 7 weeks is long enough veg to get what you want. A 3 foot plant would give you max 4oz per plant. Mine veg for 5-8 weeks before I put them out. another 12 weeks in the sun then finish out 9-10 weeks later. If the summer is not to hot and the fall is dry I can get a lb or more a plant. but those are 10 foot plants and very full or 6-7 foot plants that are about 6 foot across. this is a pic's from last yearView attachment 2405931View attachment 2405932View attachment 2405931View attachment 2405932

I'm gonna say 10 max and thats if you're lucky. but hey.. prove me wrong and if you do good job. Everyones gotta start somewhere and someones always gotta be the first.

thanks for the input guys its just convinced me to do indoor at the place instead lol. Just gonna do some indoor organic hydroponic and charge out that a$$ for it to make up for the fact that it will be a smaller yield. I have 6 months that i can rent this so called "house" from the guy dec-may gonna have 2 harvests hopefully 6 lbs each harvest with 6 600 watters, 4 plants per light gonna take a month to veg from clone to shape and grow them for a SCROG then flower for 8-9 weeks. 10-12 lbs of some premium indoor is bomb too.
