Don't mix up the believers with the bigots there is a difference. Believers feed the hungry, treat the injured, house the homeless and they don't care if your gay or straight or whether you believe or not.

A lot of believers don't respect other believers, non-believers, gays, people of other races and they believe we cannot be moral without religion.

That is extremely offensive to a lot of people who don't need old books to tell them to not kill or rape, we know it's inherently wrong.
Religion poisons everything, it truly does.

History proves that we as a species are ignorant and we have continued to make the same mistakes. You know as well as I do that people forget the next day. If people are going to support or not support something, don't you feel they should know about all of it, including what the process looks like? Why should they be sensored from what some people feel is too much to stomach, when the cold hard truth is, is that is exactly what it looks like?

It isn't "emotionally persuasive", it just part of the process exposed. Why hide the truth, are you trying to persuade the people with less than all the facts? Knowing what something looks like is different than being told.

I suggest refraining from reading public signs and posters and whatnot if you are sensitive to this type of materials.
