where preflower would be....

On my 13day old autoflower this morning I noticed what looks like foilage beginning to grow where a preflower should be...looks like two little leaf tips starting to shoot out....is this a bad sign...sorry no pic available at the moment....can a female preflower begin like that or is this a hermie sign?

prob just new growth man its just like any other plant 13 days is early for an auto to show

It's alright, that's just secondary growth. It just means you have plenty of light so the plant needs more leaves to take advantage. These and the buds that grow from this joint will have little stems attaching them to this area a lot of times, you'll see your preflowers come in between these stems.

Ok...cool...just had me worried cause I've not seen it shoot out there before...that's where I've always seen preflowers begin....
