How To Maximize One Plant Indoors

Hello, just looking for some help here. I would like to grow my own marijuana indoors, in a grow tent or closet. The hassle of getting weed is old and the stuff I get has nothing on all the delicious pictures I see here. :-P;-)

What I would like to ask is just a more general question. I don't want lots of plants stinking the house up. No stinky weed. I am worried about all the chores having multiple plants would be.
The less soil and water in my house the better. I want what everybody wants: A TON of pot off ONE plant.

I just want a system for one plant. All of the pre-made stuff that I see is for 4, 6, 8, 16 plants and I'm just not interested.
My goal is 3+ ounces from one plant.

The strain I like is Northern Lights which is supposed to be one of the better strains for a noob so I lucked out on that one. Maybe that factors into your suggestion, I don't know.

I just want to maximize ONE plant.

What way of growing marijuana would you suggest for a MOP grow, M.aximize O.ne P.lant?

Mr I Can Do That For Half
Just make a simple bubbleponics single plant setup. Use a 20 gallon or bigger tub a good size air pump and use feim, lst and lollipop techniques. Can get away with 1 400 watt light and should get your goal. When dialed in the goal is 1 gram per watt of light but thats in perfection with expirence.

Scrog with plenty of veg time.. The veg time is critical to the over all production of the plant.

Wow, thanks a lot for all the help! I had never heard of main-lining with a longer veg time and it looks like exactly what I want. I don't have space limitations, just plant limitations.
I'm not really time sensitive (patience is a virtue) but I am yield sensitive, how much good pot can I get off one plant? The vine trellis and the staking looks essential to what I want to do.

I just got a vaporizer and I can immediately tell the difference from smoking ditch weed out of a spoon. Even mediocre local Wisconsin stuff out of this vaporizer is so much better. If I could grow a few ounces of quality stuff, not the best or whatever, just quality stuff that I grew and vaped, I'd be thrilled.

I love this place. Lurking and one post I have learned so much. Thanks for the help, how do I give likes?

Edit: Reading the mainlining thread, what a revelation! Exactly what I want! 6 and a half ounces of Northern Lights off one plant? After drying? I almost fuckin' came when I read that. That is what I'd use in about a year!

Edit: The FIM is when you don't top totally and leave a bit left over? Fuck I Missed? Thanks for all the help!

well, if you have been smoking commercial and having seeds in it, then the potency of this will be much much better... and with the satisfaction of raising the girl yourself... bonus!

Get a 5 gallon bucket drill holes in the botton and a couple in the sides...fill with fox farms ocean forrest...put a drainage tray from lowes/homedepot under it...put a 600 watt lamp over plant with timer...buy 4 inch carbon filter from ebay/hydro shop...put setup in closet...cut hole in ceil...hook up ducting...start growing good luck

While the mainlining looks real promising. It;s probably best left to an experienced grower.. A scrog is a lot more forgiving, just build screen over plant, do what i call tuck n roll til the screen is bout 60 to 70% full, then flip switch.
Thats 2 plants in a 3x4 screen

Yeah, I thought I was going to main line with my second grow... but no.. I bought a scrog screen for the ease of doing 4 plants under it and getting the most!! My current, bag seed, grow has so many smaller branches that all could have been main colas... at least I topped the girl... fim'ed the other one that hermied on me due to genetics.

You guys are the best. Wow, great info in almost no time flat. Thanks a lot! That T5 lighting is the stuff you can buy for growing live rock, right? I hear it burns a lot less hot than the CFL and HID/HPS stuff. Maybe I need some hotter stuff for the winter though?

It's a 2 1/2 x 4ft tray.. All about the veg time.. You've got to give them time to mature, and grow some branches. The buds have to have something to grow out of. lol
