I care because it will affect my life.
It will affect a lot of peoples lives.
And if it's possible to win the nomination to President of the US by being ignorant and ignoring facts then the whole world has a huge problem on our hands.
What happens in your country sadly has an effect on the whole world because you choose to act like you're the world police.
I would very much hate it if my government would follow Rmoney policies (like they did with Iraq and Bush) simply because they are scared to go against a country 50 times their size.
What scares me most about Rmoney is his religion and how he and Ryan would let it guide their every move and decision.
I would much prefer Gary Johnson to be president but I don't see that happening at this moment in time.
I disagree with Obama on a lot of subjects, like your homeland/national security scheme where you can detain people indefinitely, even torture people and your surveillance society.

How is it a big ego to say that I can read and understand a blog by a famous statistician?
All I've done is look at the facts and go with the most credible person (Nate Silver).
Ok first of all, Nate Silver was not working for the NYT last time around.
He was picked up by them because he was so good at calculating results and putting statistics into a formula which very precisely predicted an election.
So it's not like he's been given a transcript by the NYT that he follows. I'm pretty sure everyone can agree that Nate Silver is immensely good at calculating politics.
He's been right every time so far.
If Nate Silver is wrong I'll post a picture of my balls on rollitup.
