C Cat is the guy to ask about outdoor growing. I haven't had my cherry popped yet. Strictly indoor :o!

^ that sounds very good,Not sure about the kitchen scraps compost though,Any perlite in there too?

im working on getting somthing similar, as i am in Thailand translation is a tricky hurdle to jump but i think ive found something that will work. however its much bigger than perlite it say about the size of a dime as opposed to the small perlite. think it will workout?

What I do know is that perlite retains a bit of moisture but allows excess water to pass through, if you have too much of something like that you might be withholding too much water from your plant. You could always experiment with some tomatoes and see how they like certain soil compositions.
Here is a size comparison so you get an idea of how big perlite is.

yea the stuff that im finding is a bit smaller than that bottle cap.. so i think ill have to try something else.. the soil stays dry here its nice and toasty all the time.

Might be great to use as a topper, to keep water from evaporating out of the ground.

yea thats what i was thinking too, the coconut husks i mention before is chunky and creates space for the water to fall through. but i agree the soil is thick here and retains water quite well. that being said, a topper would be nice to have some evaporation, root rot is a very high risk.

Okay! In about 10 minutes I need you all to look at my buds and let me know if harvesting now would be a good idea!

From what I understand, 80% of brown pistils is a good time to harvest.
i really hope that you did more homework before torturing any more poor plants! This has been a guide on what NOT to do! Why do they leave misinformed inaccurate info on here? Prob for pure entertainment purposes....
