by the way...i have the resistance plus method sevens.....the resistance series are a bit smaller frame than the "operators" which are way to big for my face....but the operators, and resistance "plus"are designed for inside and out, but the plain "resistance" just inside....you can tell by the reflective coating on the in/out pairs...

I've noticed I get red strips where the white of my eyes are exposed to HPS, even just for a little while. I gotta get some of those at some point...

Am I going blind not wearing sunglasses under HPS?
i am a big advocate of eye and hearing protection....i wear sunglasses all the time, and always wear earplugs for noisy environments...the rays from HPS and the sun can be harmful to your vision.....go to methodseven.com and read up on it...they have three models, that range from 100-170 bucks.....well worth it imho....but what i like the most is being able to see my girls through filtered light, they look almost "natural" through the glasses.....i spotted a very subtle Mg deficiency in my fruity pebbles as soon as i put them on for the first time....so bonus as far as i am concerned.....plus i think the Resistance model is pretty stylish, and another plus is you can always spot a fellow grower wearing them, where as no other "civilian" would ever notice.....:-P
