No hearing. Too many years of playing live music and riding Harley's with drag pipes.

Back broken in 5 places in 1981 skiing over a cliff in a blinding blizzard, Wolf Creek Pass, CO.

Broken collarbone, torn rotator cuff and my right deltoid muscle ripped free from the bone/tendon trying to keep a 600+pound patient from tipping over in a wheelchair. Mutiple surgeries, rehab and ultimately terminated because I could not lift 35 pounds over my head 2 months post-injury even though I was recovering from second surgery.

Yes, I would go back and not do this crap had I known I would live this long without being senile.

Plus it made me hate these motherfucking rich sonsofbitches and their politician buddies who cover their asses with little sections of the law that release them from any damages.
600lb fit in ONE wheelchair? FUCK! I haven't been to YOUR hospital!
I know I just call you "Harley", but I had no idea you were a fuckin' 3 wheeler'!

Fuck! Wolf's Creek Pass is scary enough in the summer time. I go to Pagosa Springs all the time. I hate that drive.

I used to drive semi loads of hay over Red Mountain Pass and back with spuds! THAT is a hair raiser between Silverton and Ouray. A real brake burner loaded.

Have you ever fished at Trout Lake outside of Rico? My family would go there every summer. Beautiful area. Thin air, though.

Yes. I love that entire area. Going from Chama through Chromo into Pagosa. Ever visit South Fork? I used to live in Del Norte. Lots less people, the Rio Grande is clear and full of trout. The guy that killed Jesse James was killed himself up the road in Creede.

We used to play against Del Norte. They would always kick our asses. LOL

I have lot of relatives that way. My mom was half Jicarilla Apache and I spent a lot of summers in Dulce and surrounding area. We would bring cattle and sheep down from the mountains. I got scratched up a lot.

My first indoor grow was in Del Norte in 1983. The HPS street light at the truck stop was RIGHT in this upstairs window. Like less than a foot away. The previous tenants left because it was so bright upstairs at night. I had plants in the window until you could see them. Had to buy an EM HPS setup out of High Times. Hate telling you it cost me HUNDREDS!!!!! Actually around $500 if I remember right.

Those Apache can be some mean folks if they get riled. Love that Jicarilla area around Dulce. We used to go to Mescalero and see Geronimo's only son - Robert. He was a nice old man and was nice to little kids. I still have his autograph somewhere.

My grandmother or great-grandmother (I forget which one) saw him getting loaded into a train headed for Oklahoma. She said they had him in shackles and surrounded by soldiers with guns. They were very afraid of him.

I had a very good friend, full blooded Cherokee, she was not one to be fucked with........
LOL I went to the Red Earth powwow and saw a lot of Cherokee and Choctaw and some Seminole. I went into a gay bar there (Saddle Tramps) and ended up with a group of them. One of the best times of my life. We went from bar to bar and danced our little hearts out. They accepted me when I told them I was from New Mexico. One of them said hello in Navajo and I answered back and asked him how he was doing. I was kinfolk after that. They took good care of me. But they were some fierce queens. Nobody messed with them. :p

Geronimo got fucked. They promised him (General Crook did) that if he surrendered and had his warroirs surrender that they would send him away for awhile then let him go home to his beloved Mescalero. They never did let him, the lying sonsofbitches. He died in Oklahoma. He was not a chief or even a warrior. He was a shaman. Hell his name wasn't even Geronimo but Goyathlay or Goyahkla which meant "one who yawns". He simply had had enough. He was Chiricahua but war chiefs in the region like Mangas Coloradas and Nana and Juh as well as Victorio pretty much ran his peaceful ass away. Soon he had had enough and the rest is history.

Not tonight. It's a little weird tonight and I don't want to borrow trouble.
K, I'll wait.......
It's eerie, but I like the stories that make the hair on the back of the neck stand up.
I really did like the pic you put up of the 'skinwalker', That's the kind of neat stuff that is 'of legend', not bullshit made up by kids.
