NUTE LOCKOUT DUE TO PH!!! Have some ?s

So I've noticed the beginning signs of a nute lock out and I think its caused due to the ph. So my questions are if they are locked out can I just water with higher PhD water and then will the nutrients be unlocked and enter the plants? Do I need to flush and renute with half strength? The problems I'm noticing is a mag deficiency on 2 and zinc and potassium on the other 10 and I believe its due to a ph drop after I mixed the nutes and didnt reup the ph. also make sure it's ph!!You don't want to fuck with a plants ph. Swings in ph, will right out kill it or stunt it.

The tester that I have is a red dye tester for chlorine but has just a Ph side. The Ph was anywhere from 6.0 to 6.8(color chart on tester) when I checked the Ph after adding nutes but I think it was on the low side of the 6's. Ive read acouple places that mag,phos, and zinc get locked out above 6.5 ph, Is this true? Some of the older fans leaves are having necrosis on the edges and tips of the leaves. Some of the other plants are haveing a bluish tint to some of the older leaves as well. Im using RO water to water my plants, which i just found out needs calmag added to it. Any advice on these issues would be great. I grow in Aurora Roots Organic Orig. and Cutting Edge Solutions Nutrients with there 3pt additives(Uncle Johns Blend, Plant Amp, MAG-Amped). The deficiciency isnt that bad yet because they are still showing new growths and height. Very little purpling on the stems, mainly on the older fan leaves and the veins of some of the stalks have purple veins. Thanks in advance.

They are fed with the same ratio and ph ro water. I believe its a phos & mag problem, i also wonder if its a nute lockout or just caused by the RO water not having any minerals in it. My tap water is filled with calcium and very hard so i chose to buy Drinking Water from Wally World. Its processed through Reverse Osmosis. Should i switch up the water or just get some cal mag for everytime i water or feed?

Those look perfectly fine. I wouldn't change anything. Very rarely do you get nute lock out in decent soil, in fact I add lime when I mix my soil at about 1 1/2 TBl per gallon and I never worry about ph. My soil is 4 to 5 parts promix hp to 1 part happy frog. I have used straight roots organic and I find it to heavy and takes to long to dry out for my tastes..

Dont get to hung up on ph in soil.

If in soil don't worry about the ph water. Whatever your ph is in water. The soil will buffer it back to the soils ph.

Only people selling crap will tell you to buy stuff for the waters ph or say that you need calmag!It's just a fucken weed plant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

measure your run-off. take the difference between your run-off and what your ph should be and water with just plain water adjusted to that ph. This will lower/raise your average ph changing the ph in your medium allowing for the nutrient lockout to stop. also lower your overall ppm's until new growth starts to occur again.

the plant in the pic looks fine. if you're getting burn at the tips its exactly that....BURN. back off on whatever it is you're feeding it and the new growth should be fine. also make sure your ph is correct for whatever medium you're growing in 5.8 for soiless and 6.5 for soil. and your run-off should measure this...not your res...well your res too but if your medium is too high or low you'll need to do some adjusting in the res to compensate.

Looks like just the teeeeniest little reaction to either nutes or slightly hot soil. If it doesnt progress inward into the leaf more over the next few days, you have nothing to worry about.

Or it might be from that wrinkly foil covering the soil.
Do you feed? What if anything?
How old are they?

So the mag def I believe was just a nute burn on 2 of them. The only concern I have now is some purpling of some older and some new fan leaves. They are not showing anymore signs of def though. I'm almost wondering if its not turning because of in take temps. My basement can get kinda cold. My temps vary from 71(night) thru 74(day) right at the canopy of the plants but I'm thinking my intake is high 60's which could cause purpling, right? My lights are on 24hr cycle right now for fear of cold temps when lights go off. When I flip to flower next week I'll check the temps the first day with lights off and compensate with a space heater if need be. Any idea if I use a space heater if that will affect the RH? If so what to do to compensate for that? Will post pics in a few mins need to erase old ones on phone and take new ones, think Ive taken to many when my camera loads as slow as molasses.

I believe P gets locked out below 55 degrees. so i think you're fine there. also hot air is easier to remove the moisture from. so if you have an a/c the space heater will increase the amount of water the a/c pulls from your room.

I see too much heat and the beginnings of spider mites, perhaps?

Get yourself some Hot Shot pest strips for your tent, and make certain the lights aren't too close to the plants.

I just started feeding it mircle-grow with water and spaying it on the leaves. I am use scott's soilless medium and my plant is 16 days old today. Does it look like my plant is on the right track to a successful grow / harvest??

Quit feeding it, especially foliar feeding for a week or so and keep an eye on it.

In my experience water pH can be an important factor in a soil grow. Water with a pH of 8.2 was causing some probs in a friends grow. When he got a pH meter and realized how high his water pH was, he began adjusting it down to 6.3 before watering. Problems solved.

Having said that... your plants look great, I see no Mg deficieny at all.
