it is best to put it in before you plant(at least a month) that way it is breaking down into what the plant needs before you plant.

hope they turn into tree's for you

my site is right by a river but I don't know if I want to be hanging around it long, i don't know maybe, I was just thinking about getting fish on my way to get my spot ready

don't know there are lots of Vietnamese that go on rivers and stuff in Maine to catch eel, but I checked and there's a catch and release sign so I'm just gonna ask for the biggest cheapest fish at the store because its on my way there

Just a share. salmon is what the tribes around here use. at this point they are using mostly skin and guts because that is where the nutes are. most any fish will work but felet it for the food an throw the rest in the hole. it seem the guys using the fish, plant them in the fall for the next year.

probably wont be bad but probably wont be much benefit for this years grow.
it takes time to be broken down and turned into the stuff the plant needs to feed on.
that is why i say a month or so before you plant.

roots depend on the availability of water.
after i transplant i water frequently for the first couple of weeks then start to let the ground dry out ,this makes the roots chase the water down.
you will know when they hit the fish they put on a growth spurt and get a real healthy glow to them.

no stumps is correct the longer they are in the better.
i say a month because i am growing in the same place year in year out so the plants are probably using the fish from the year before and the fish i put in this year feeds next years crop.

iv heard salmon works good thats what all the native americans used back in the day...and fish prices are def local idk who asked but i live in NE and fish is a lot cheaper then down south
