Everything is looking good under the 2 AF600. Everything had a slow start because I topped and transplanted on the same day about 2 weeks ago.? But now they are starting to show some growth, and sex! I am very confident than only a week from now, not much light will be wasted on the floor/containers... unless I gotta pull a bunch of males...
Let`s start of with PSUAGRO`s favourites ...

My Widow was a great producer, very, very stretchy; make sure you tame that bitch. After about 4-5 weeks of vegging it she was quite significantly taller than my other ladies. The first 2 weeks of flower were even worse, she took off like a rocket going up and up and up and up.... lol

well she should not get too tall because I won`t her ... 4-5 weeks seems like an awful long time to veg!! (just kidding!!) I keep wanting to start growing bigger plants but man that 12/12 from seed is addicting!! Every joint I smoke during the day is a different strain!! well ok right now I smoke quite a bit of AO (fkin killer weed!!!)
Those pictures were taken before I went mad with velcro plant ties (I went through a whole roll hehe) and scissor...
Its early but the WW is one of my favourite right now, just a beautiful plant!! yesterday I topped her (attempting to clone her!!) and I tied her down and she is now mainlined for 4 . Another one that I liked a lot was a Medicine that was on HIS own in a 7gallons smart pot, .. he was off to a good start but he was a HE!!! If I can keep the WW in the middle like she is right now, I think she will get very heavy.
I think I am regretting the Dr.Grinspoons already ... AHAH, they are going to be a 100 days nightmare from .... from now!! they are already twice the size as everything else, no signs of flower yet and they are starting to grow wild. The more I think about it, I am not sure I will grow them out. just kidding psuagro, but I might not keep them under the AF600 for too long... If they get as big as I think they might get, I will put them on their own in the tent under the 540watts

Sorry I have tried UV before I dont know that it made a difference, I think you dont want to overdo it if you use them.
OK!! making tincture again...
This time, I am using some primo buds for it!! And I got just the perfect plant for this... Remember this shot:
That was the K-Train, what a disappointment that plant was after drying her. My room is a bit too hot but I think genetic is to be blame because my Agent Orange has nothing to do with this (or any other plants harvested recently for that matter!!) , super hard nugs... on the K-trains the buds are not dense at all very fluffy, one of the 2 k-train was not as bad as the other. I guess it makes for big ounces (this is 1 oz):
But like I said the buds are still primo, just got no bag appeal. I yielded about 2oz per plant with the last 2 k-trains which is not bad for 12/12fs...
So that makes it the perfect pot to make tincture with, ... I found my old coffee grinder and before I got going I scrapped this year old ++ thc butter from the bottom and smoked it
Ok so here it is, food grade glycerine with a full ounce of pot. I ground half of the ounce and the other just used my hand to make small pieces... I filled the jar to the very top after I took the pictures, you just gotta let it settle for a while because that glycerine isnt like water... very gooey.
So here it is, that easy, pot + glycerin. Now I will flip the jar once a day (or more...) for 60 days (will probably be more like 45 days this time...) I will use at least another ounce of K-Train to make another one and then I will also start experimenting with trim.
This stuff is not to get you high... strong pain killer... and relaxant. I havent had a chance to try it all that much (and its hard for me to tell because I smoke so much pot) but I have a few people with MS or fibromyalgia trying them right now and they like them a lot... now my first batch were not done properly either so I am really looking forward to give them this k-train tincture.

This was September 28th. the 2 AO in the same 10 gallons container had just showed their sex, one of them is almost ready or ready, and I went looked at the date this morning and I can`t believe that she would be ready so early.
Not sure what to do but I might chop her tonight. will post pics of her tonight but now that I look at the date I am thinking I probably should wait 2 more weeks!!! The funny thing too is that it is only one of the 2 the other looks to be 3 weeks from harvest and is much bigger. must be 2 different phenos but still I am very impressed at how fast this AO has matured.

Tonight was a big night in the garden, I moved quite a few plants around. I will shock a few in the process... oh well. (the new room and the rest are on a different schedule)
I have taken the 2 SpaceBomb out of the new main room to make seeds with them (1 male and 1 female in the same 10 gallon container) and I placed them in the tent.
The tent will be the breeding room through the winter, I will use the seeded buds to make tinctures. (and smoke of course!!) Temporarily I placed another 10 gallons with 4 TGA reg plants but they will probably endup in the new room. I also put in New York City Diesel fem seed from Soma. (yes SpaceBomb x NYC soma... again I will smoke the buds anyway so I will pick out the seeds and I will get to try the NYC this way)
I left 2 Agent Oranges that are almost ready in the tent, 2 weeks away, ( I dont expect the pollen from space bomb to spread for another 10-12 days.. I have no clue ) I also left the chemdog (or ktrain) in the tent because it will be ready in about 3-4 weeks and I dont care seeds in it,...
So in the process of moving the plants from the tent to the room I took a few shots in front of my super black background. As you can see the Agent Orange were looking good under the 336x3 now going under blackstar/af600 but mostly blackstar.

no not worry I grow for myself. Tired of buying seeds yes but its nice to try new genetic. the ktrain is from an hermi from a previous run. They seem to be female seeds but I dont like growing this strain. I am hoping that I can get some good seeds of my own so it will be fun to try anyway.

HEHE Right on Alex you will not regret it!!! I have had a few people recently telling me that I have influenced their growing style and I gotta say I feel pretty good about it. Just a year ago I was a total beginner with a million questions (I still have tons of unanswered questions haha!!) I owe a lot to the organic community of RIU (of course Subcool as well for making the SS so famous that I had to try it)
If you grow for yourself and quality is a concern, I believe it is how it should be done. And I have been pleased with my yields as well. The more people are adopting this style of growing the better we are all going to get, tuning our recipes and our compost teas to the needs of our ladies! And once everything is rolling, it's way easier than any other style as well. I am glad to see more LED users giving it a shot because I strongly believe that SS + LEDs = the bomb!!. It doesnt matter whether your soil is drying fast or slow, you dont have to worry that your babies arent getting all the nutrients, its all in there for them to use at their own pace!
There is still a learning curve but I can guarantee you some decent results on your first go at it... For instance this time around I have a strain Haoma, really seems to like weaker soil, each Haoma in the garden is showing the claw on the leaves which tells me the soil is a bit hot but the plants next to it in the same soil are doing just fine.
The main thing though is ITS ORGANIC!! FREE OF CHEMICALS!! AND TASTE THE BEST AND GET YOU TOP HIGH....
NOW ITS TIME FOR MY SUPER WINTER 2012-2013 BREEDING PROJECT TO BEGIN!!!

Most likely, I will keep the NYC Diesel from soma in the tent... she wasnt 12/12 from seed and she didnt like being transplanted with such small roots structure and into 12/12 right away. I dont think she is going to get very big because of that but at the same time I believe the genetic was fine she was doing well early on and she is still healthy now. The only problem with her is that she just went from 6am-6pm to 6pm-6am schedule so hopefully that doesnt confuse her too much.
Here I have 4 TGA babies in the breeding room, (3 3d and 1 vortex ) but I will probably put them in the new room after I remove a few more males. Or I might keep them in the tent for seeds

yes first and only run with it ( I bought that seed from single marijuana seed website ) If she is a big winner, I will consider buying again but I think that I will take a break from buying seeds for a while... if all goes as planned I will have many seeds to play with and I am attempting to breed genetics that seems to do well so far 12/12 from seed.

How are the 'hydro grow' LEDs. Anyone here ever heard of them? I think these might be the best LEDs on the market?

why would you think they are the best leds on the market^? Not many grows online with them and I have read mixed reviews.. perhaps you may want to ask this question on the forum? overpriced if this 200Watts light is on sale for 900$ from 1100$!!! man I wouldnt want to have a 1000watts grow with those light you would be looking at 5000$ worth of light, .. I dont care how good they are
