Hmm where to begin. How about right here. I went into a grow room and a man was spraying raid on his plants. I went to a growers as he was adding plants that were filled powdery mildew into a hash machine. I went into a grow and a persons plants were so shinny of neem oil I could have used the buds for soap, he was harvesting in 2 days. There is a new threat to marijuana and it is mans stupidity. I have seen a long time growers get swindled and deceived by punk salesman "ha ha ha grow consultant is what they call themselves. I have something to say

1. I am pissed that the marijuana industry "market" makes growing seem like it needs to be rocket science when infact a motherfucker like me that has aspergers and never was able to graduate let alone give a fuk about mark twain or Shakespeare can do the job just as well as any with the slightest of ease. No nute packs no certain soil mix no nothing but the simpliest will do and can do. No opinions from the salesman with his own shop are needed and neither are his gadgets. Marijuana is easy to grow you do not know how many times I have heard the run around why they can not grow it for themselves! That shit needs to STOP. Find a way if that is what you want.

You do not need to attend a college a seminar or nothing! What you need to do is listen to 1 person or one book you see I believe that there are too many opinions out there and it drowns the truth with uncertainties. Fire,water,air,earth is all it takes each element comes in various forms and each can be created by several diffrent means. I want the people to stop letting someone else grow their dope. I know some of you just physicaly cannot and that is another topic but for the ones that can and choose not too you are being foolish.

2. There is a major health concern to me today as of the many chemicals the unwise are putting on these plants. This has got to stop and it must stop today. Do any of you see at least the math aspect of it do you know how many buds are handed out that will harm a human? The numbers are great and will never be known. I will say that for every person that cares there is one that does not. Remember we are dealing with people some people do very evil things and some do good things. What would stop someone from hurting you if they did not care about much more then the money aspect. It is cheaper to buy a can of raid then it is azamax..........Think about it.

I believe that if each dispensary is gonna make a hell of a profit off pain they should by law be required to send samples into a lab for testing. I also believe there needs to be a organization formed to make sure they the dispensaries do infact send in samples before sold. There must be someone to watch out for the people other then in the eyes of law. We need someone there to save the people from this unimaginable health threat! ASAP.

3 The final thing I have to say at this moment in time is that It is nice to be able to grow marijuana without fear. Some of you seem as though we are back in time 15 years ago spreading fear about growing the plant. Fear is a tool used by your advisory. Many of us know that if I or others are within the law and persecution begins for being under the law. that the signature on our paper work with the governor saying we can grow for it has become your shield. I am sure things in the future will change but for some time now it has been safe to grow and is currently safe to do so. So grow without fear.

I have this same convo with the hydro shops and the few dispensaries I have been to. Being on Rollitup at least for me puts me in this ganja knowledge bubble that apparently a majority of growers arent even close to. So when I'm in the local hydroshop grabbing a few things and another person walks in Im always astonished by how much basic knowledge they lack. Endless questions not just like one or two but the type of questions that prove you need to go back and do some reading before asking more. They buy the Jorge book and skim it and then never look at it again. I think the issue is that its a lot to take in for the average person. Keeping a plant alive is a feat for a lot of people let alone adding nutrients and understanding what your actually doing. People dont want to invest the time to learn because it takes to long so they get the basic outline of how to grow and tough it out through their cycles. It may seem easy to grow in hindsight but when your dropping yourself in there as a know nothing person back then its intimidating. The ones who will make it are the ones who will invest the most time learning about the process and tweaking it instead of trying to make it a do little career.

Supplies need to grow pot:

A seed - even a bagweed one
A place to plant it - a little container with genuine dirt
Water when it needs it
Light because it does need it (the sun works great!)

I feel as though you are right by the lack of knowledge aspect. I also think people are so very easily swayed. Like a leaf falling in autumn a slight breeze can cause conflict in the direction the leaf falls to the ground so too with many people. A little breeze in another direction can mess everything up in terms of direction headed.

As you said a man or woman has dwindled down to so much as not even having the knowledge to grow a plant. Yet state schooling was had no? I agree it is such a strain for many to grow a plant. This is total ignorance on their part. To spend 1000 hours at school and 1000 hours on facebook and 1000 hours of music that they do not have the ability to grow a plant to save their lives or feed their mouths.There great grandmothers are ashamed for they cannot feed themselves. Same with growing pot such a easy task is to hard for someone? WTF happened

It is not intimidation I am spreading it is the truth. If you are a human and you can log into this site and not know how to grow any plant you need to change your life. You need to quit doing what you are doing and take some time to learn basic knowledge that is no longer taught unless sought.

I for one would rather lose and or be the one responsible for all of you losing your cards as rather my daughter growing up and using marijuana someday laced with raid just once. Almost every fucking time I go into my local hydro shop of choice (we have like 6 in this town) there is someone in there who is buying all this bullshit to spray on there plants for mites, pm and everything else that someone who don't know how to grow has. Never once do I hear the guys in there telling them how to prevent this shit with keeping the environmental conditions correct and clean. But then again most growers don't want to spend the big money it takes to have total environment control. I do not spray anything ever on my plants period. And I don't have pests, mold or powdery mildew and never have. I keep my temp and humidity in check 24/7 and wear clean clothing when working. Not everyone in this world has what it takes to grow proper cannabis. Sorry but it is true! Like the old saying "They wont legalize it because anyone can grow it" Wrong!!!! It takes a lot of common sense, discipline, diligence, and persistence to grow cannabis properly. I know of 20+ growers and have been in at least 80% of there grow rooms. I would say only 5% of them really know what they are doing. The rest of them well Common sense ain't so common! Growers in Michigan have a long way to go. We in Michigan are at that point where a lot of people think they can plant a gold mine in the basement and reap pounds of top shelf. I have seen a lot of people with that mentality and I would say almost all of them didn't make it to the second harvest before they got out.

Sorry about the rant but it makes me mad as hell when growers are making people sick. and making hash with pm infested bud is just fucking wrong. Yeah lets concentrate the mildew then when we smoke it makes us super sick.

I am new to growing and I have to say I don't necessarily find it hard, but I don't find it particularly easy...or cheap either. That said, I had some plant issues thus far and I had to read and post alot to get some direction on where or what I need to do to help rectify the situation. Everyone must start somewhere and common sense along with basic plant knowledge are a huge help obviously. Also, sometimes you have to work with what you have....period.

The topics intertwine. The real way to be safe is to grow your own. For those who cannot should have a safe feeling when buying pot from the dispensary. Right know the people are not safe. No one is there for them. There is a lawer there for the dispensary to keep open and there is a man there to hold on to the cash and all the goons in between but there is no one there to protect the people in that dispensary from the unknown and unseen harm is there.

I firmly believe all caregivers should have to send there samples into a lab. I believe the caregivers must have this paperwork on hand for patients and same for dispensery. If it became law lab work would become cheaper.

My mom gave me the news article because she thought I'd like it. I did. It explained there whole operation and how they allowed the Michigan state troopers to come visit them. This was in July when I read it. At the time there weren't growing yet but the article said that they have contracts with Canadian dispensaries? I'm like how exactly are they shipping MJ across the Canadian border legally? Oh yes, the police are aware of that grow op in the U.P and they have been there, inspected it and approved it. But dare you and or me sell across the border for profit!
