what happened with halloween being about horror and gore? when i was a kid, every house was decorated in the most vile, disgusting and horrific scenery as possible. along with bloody and scary costumes.

now it's winnie the pooh and dressing up as fruits and vegetables... wtf!??!?!

the spirit was alive and well in my neighborhood during the 90s... the whole neighborhood was a festival... the nostalgia is almost too overwhelming for me to handle... the toddlers today have clue wtf the real halloweens were like.... now it's... dead... barely anyone passes out candy and very, very few kids are out and about trick or treating with their faggot costumes.

i'm 26, btw... i stopped trick-or-treating when i was 14... did it again when i was 22 just for fun when i was drunk... lol -- this one lady wouldn't give me candy because she said i was too old... haha -- fuck her.

r.i.p. halloween.

I personally couldn't care two bits. I have no interest in a celebrating death and horror and scary things, and promoting small scale extortion. If a kid were to knock on my door tonight and say trick or treat i'd be hard pressed not to throw him off my doorstep. Wtf is wrong with society.

Your not in a good place at the moment are you my friend? First you say you hate people and now this, what's bugging you? If you have a problem or someone has upset you maybe you would feel better if you shared it with the folks at riu. Have a smoke and a beer things can't be that bad

It's cause you're older. My 13 yr old loves it. In fact I do too. Decorate the house, sit in the dark, and BOO!!! lil crying kids and teens running for their lives... Hm I end up with all kinds of extra candy. Yeah me. Stay high

There's different neighborhoods that have haunted houses. I used to go to this one every year and it was pretty good up until I was about 12, I don't get scared anymore so I don't even go to Hallowscream. Went once with some friends and I always stay in this mind set that nobody can actually hurt me so why be scared, and the people that pop out of no ware you're gonna expect something like that anyways right?

But yeah, you can easily find the horror, just gotta know where to look.

Dammit, you're still a youngun'.
I quit trick or treating more than 26 years ago LOL
I remember when I was about 13 or 14, going to a 'haunted house at a local church, and telling one of my buddies, 'if a ghost pops out and scares me, I'm gonna pop him', and it happened.
First and only time I can think of a ghost punching a kid in the gut!
After that, my whole outlook on the event changed, maybe that's when I started becoming evil........
