Will hurricane Sandy affect voter turnout in the Northeast? It will surely affect early voting, but what about overall?

I doubt it. I don't live in the NE but I sent my ballot in a week ago.....Gary Johnson is about to fuck shit up for Romney.

I doubt Gary Johnson will get even 1% of the vote, I've never heard or seen his name anywhere but here. The 6th is only 10 days away. I heard the storm should make landfall Tuesday, the 6th is 7 days after that. The storm will linger for some time, 2,3,4 days? It may not even make landfall Tuesday, it could be later. People will be concerned about their homes, family, and friends. Many may forgo voting this year. When the roof is gone from your house, politics isn't at the forefront of your mind.

LOL, there would be death if that was ordered thats for sure.

Camp Spandy would be tossing lead at everyone that came to his door asking for those items. Fuck Fema Camps. I would live out here in the woods before I walked through the gates of one of those willingly.

Are you saying the storm would affect Democrats more than others? The percentages shouldn't change unless the hand of God directs the storm to mostly Democrats.

You have 2 houses
house 1 = 400 D +100 R
house 2 = 100 D +400 R

if we block(hurricane) house 1 so only half of that house can vote we have

300 D & 450 R come voting day. So the popular vote would be in the republicans favor.

now if you are talking electoral college then our votes don't matter anyway do they.

With the EC, "house 1" would still be democrat. Even if the storm hit only one side of the house and only Dems lived on that side. Still, your vote does count, even with the EC. Remember, due to the storm, we will voting on a staggered schedule. Republicans have until the 6th to vote, while Democrats are asked to vote on the 7th.

that hurricane is racist. it's trying to suppress the early vote in minority communities.

suppression of the vote with a "stormfront warning" is clearly a plot by the romney campaign and his army of mormon followers praying the hurricane into existence!

thats why it's path is marked out in WHITE!!!

notice how the storm conveniently dodges conservative states and heads right for the liberal ones, I think kynes may be onto something. I think its more likely its heading right for the anti-gun states first because that way people will be more willing to turn in their weapons and head to the fema death camps, they are just hoping then that the rest of us will follow
