I've heard about outdoor plants lasting for a long time, and I have heard about indoor growers revegging. So I am on a quest to find the person with the oldest plant!

Great question! Of course cloning clones creates a very old plant, but that's different. I think I remember reading someone had been vegging a sativa for close to a year...

There are plants out there at right around 20 years old. Couldn't tell you where, but if you do some google searching you may find one.

outdoors could only survive 9 months unless its in a part of the world like polar caps that gets 20 plus hours of sun a day, unless they are potted and you can bring them inddors at harvest time.... i would assume

From what I've read, they can survive into the double digits. I wonder, though, if vigor and potency would decrease over time?

Nice! Do you feel that the clones are less potent after seven years? I'm wondering because I'd love to keep a Mother plant around for years, just taking a clone now and then for personal use :D
