oooohhhh.... clean the house day tomorrow... not that its a big house but fuck me we don`t half collect dust...
and may get some timber tomorrow for the potash, its just the ashes are good for flowering and i think it helps lower ph from what i`m reading, anyone on here make there own nutes?

You need to compost the ashes, you CANNOT add it directly.

well i don`t doubt you har you have never seen me wrong yet, but i first got the idea off the growing with kog vids on youtube, then last wek they used it on gardeners world on bbc for apple trees, so tought i`d give the girls a go of it, as i been looking for addatives etc in flower...

I bought a packet of potash from the garden store for like a fiver.. Npk was 0-0-48...
i did use a small bit once but didn't suit my style of growing... I think the packet is still in the shed now after all these years..!

yeah it can be got cheap jay but i have some timber shaveings and small blocks of ash and oak so just going to burn them up and use the ash as an addative for early flower, its meant to be great stuff...

Betcha the people who added it directly were growing outdoors, where leeching and composting occurr naturally.
If you use raw ash in a potted plant, your pH will drop to like 2-3.

so few more haze`s in the germ stage, and happy enough with the strain its cracking smoke with the most citrus smell and taste...
Question for ye lads. Most of the time when I get a bag of weed its sticky so needs to be dried a bit to make it grindable and smokeable. Sometimes its dry and grinds well. But sometimes its dry but just wont grind well and its not sticky but I still have to dry it a bit on the rad to make it grind to dust. Anyone know why it doesnt grind well even tho its fully dried and not sticky. It just grinds kinda clumpy. Is it down to not having a cure? Or does some weed not grind properly?

choc it could be a lot of things on the weed but 90% of the time its just to wet, and as for the stuff thats dry outside and grinds like crap thats dried under lights so will be wet inside still..
