Sorry it took so long, I was busy with an appointment but yes it did stay green, my wife gave it to a friend of hers that makes scrapbooks a few weeks later and it was still green.

I can't say what happens to them weeks or months down the road but I do know they do not turn brown during the trimming process, they do get crispy and lighten in color though.

To be honest, I think it's of little importance, but for some reason UB and Samwell made a big issue of it when I mentioned it.
