DT #1 def. looks the frostyiest, and DT#3 looks to have the yield of #2 with alot of the frostyiness of #1, looking good can't wait see it finished up!
i would let them go long, cut/trim/hang/leave...that way they will be ready for turkey bags when you get home....the opening and closing of bags/jars is critical imho.Them temp been gettin lows I wanna see some deep purples. A couple phenos are changing but the the temps haven't been as low as I like. Also, I mixed up three 32gall cans worth of SS. My friends want to buy cans from me. I just made enough for three free batches of SS.
It's perfect for new growers also.drop off a plant to a handicapped person, just add water. It's great for disabled growers. Can you tell I love it??!?
I have a slight dilemma and want other to weigh in on it?
Plants will be ready for chop around the 18 or 19th. I'm going out of town from the 25th to the 29th.
Chop on 19. Hang for 4 days jar and two and then I leave. I need time to burp jars?!?
The other option is let plants go long and chop night before I go out of town. Hang for 4-5 days, jar when I get home so I can burp jars. I am obsessive with curing slowly and properly and I think in this case taking the plants longer might be the thing to do.
Ideas?
some sto-knee-sheet!thats what i think i am going to go...i will have to take it long. i dont thnk there is another option
whats a 70day dtrain gonna be like...haha
NO WATER! that is the last thing you want to do...no offense Tranka32...a nanner or two at this stage is harmless....even if it dropped a few pollen grains, 10 days is not enough to grow a bean big enough to even notice...plus most of your pistils have died back lowering the chance of successful pollenation considerably.....just tweeze (or not) and don't worry about it....I don't have a define answer but from what I've read you should pull them off then spray the plants and area around with water. Just in case you didn't do that yet. I would wait and harvest 7 days out but then again I'm a newb so you should wait for more advice.![]()
i was def NOT going to douse with water! i know better than that....almost all of my pistils have already died back...ill go snap some pics and show the scene. i wont be able to find any nanners to show as i already tweezed it out....a picture is worth a thousand words...NO WATER! that is the last thing you want to do...no offense Tranka32...a nanner or two at this stage is harmless....even if it dropped a few pollen grains, 10 days is not enough to grow a bean big enough to even notice...plus most of your pistils have died back lowering the chance of successful pollenation considerably.....just tweeze (or not) and don't worry about it....
that is exactly why she threw a few...she was over fed......but now you know what your keepers like to eat, and can accurately adjust accordingly.....i plan to take my DT down in a few days...if not sooner...i will try to snap a few for you....for comparison sake.everything will be documented properly thats for sure!
the one that is not fading is the only one i have seen with bananas...i can only guess it is because the mix is a little hot. i will try to get some good pics tonight...
my friend who has been growing much longer than me told me not to worry at all....just tweez and move on. i am talking about 3 microscopic bananas (couldnt positively identify without the 30x) on one cola on one plant...
things are looking so so so dank...pics will be coming up....since i decided not to chop, i will spend my time take the dank pics
that is cool, cause they will be that much better the second time around after the adjustments!.....overfeeding will steal your dankness in a heartbeat.....just imagine those bitches done perfectly!....wow.absolutely...i know where i went wrong...the ones that are fading properly look great....it just so happens that they two keepers were the lightest feeders...if i went 50% SS i bet i could go 35%-40% with the clone run i am preparing for...these keepers are dainty little bitches...
another thing i was thinking about, i have yet to run a clone. i have just been popping beans for 1.5 years...which is a lot of fun...these dtrains were the first time i have wanted to run clones of them...they are that greasy.
