So basically what you're saying is "we should just stop wasting federal tax dollars on our military and simply do away with them. There is no threat out there!"

Is that your position on our military?
No, I'm saying, If anyone is unqualified to comment on this, it is the people who believe any entity besides the US government is a threat to the freedoms of the US citizen. They need you to have an "enemy" in order to justify taking those freedoms.

You don't think I stick out like a sore thumb around here? I'm living in the belly of the liberal beast.

Paul Ryan is the man with a plan.
You're just mad becasue a conservative got the VP spot and not a libertarian,
so go cry me a river
oh, he has a plan, does he?

why don't you detail some of the specifics for me, such as what deductions they would get rid of to pay for their $5 trillion tax cut.

go ahead, falafel. i'll wait.

Again, he has the same boss as Obama. He might advertise he has a Whopper instead of a Big Mac. In the end, they're both shitty burgers.
There is no "perfect burger," it's a matter of interpretation. Romney/Ryan is way better than the current excuse of an administration.

See, my opinion is that they have the same boss. SO, order a burger at McD's in ANY city and you will find that the end product is the same regardless of where you order, who takes your order, or who prepares it.

Freedom,
You should feel lucky your neighbors haven't turned you in to the Gestapo.
Its cool. California still hasn't infringed on my second amendment rights to the point I don't feel safe in my own home. Not yet anyway. Although my AR-15 had to be legally converted into the Di-Fi special, thanks to Dianne Feinstein.

Put a frog in boiling water and he will jump out. Slowly increase the heat and you've got a good meal imo.

Let's discuss liberally approved non-tox ammo then. What? i can't shoot LEAD?

Then let's discuss the waiting periods, the transfer requirements, the limitations on mag capacity, etc.

Not much when faced with someone who follows the same laws. HUGE when facing somebody who doesn't.

Thats what had me going crazy over the Batman movie shooting massacre.
Nobody was armed except for the psychopath. Sounds like a clear disadvantage.

Di-Fi called for a reinstatement of the so-called "assault weapons ban" she authored in 1994. She said that Holmes's weapon, apparently an AR-15 rifle with a 100-round magazine, was a weapon of war that shouldn't be sold in America. Di-Fi believes that massacres occur because the high-capacity rifle and pistol magazines (by her definition, those that hold more than ten cartridges) are in Americans' hands. Millions are, though probably fewer than a dozen have been used by the mass murderers.

And that's the end result of gun control laws. Disarming the honest citizen and giving the dishonest citizen/criminal the advantage.

It's overused, but "Take guns from law-abiding citizens and only criminals will have guns.

i choose "criminal" i guess.
