What are you growing it for? Bud, No you can't keep it around for years, you CAN but it's a waste of time. It's easier to grow another/clone than to grow a plant let it flower, cut all the buds off then re-veg it. That is a massive waste of time. Read the link I gave you a couple of posts ago.

Yep. I think a first grow should be rather small. I personally didn't start with bag seed. Did a ton of reading before I even bought a seed(seems less common now days) Ended up with 1.3oz from 2 plants under 9 cfls. 2nd grow I got 5oz from 1 plant. This grow I'm looking at 8-10oz from one plant. I don't grow for strictly yield though, I grow because I enjoy growing.when growing bud main things. Light, temp, humidity, air, soil and nutes. you can fuck up and still get bud trial and error you can read as much as i do and still not get the results that you want. ( like i am) growing is a hobby if you dont enjoy it like i do then its just not for you. i can take a shit crop and roll with it i dont care this is a hobby that i enjoy. take this experience roll with your mistakes and make next time better everyone has a bad crop dont let any vet tell you otherwise keep going if you enjoy watching your work blossom if not just buy your weed

I've been trying to think of a way to do a perpetual grow with waterfarm. So far I haven't thought up one that would be cheap. I rather enjoy waterfarming so I'm gonna stick to it. Plus, I don't need pounds of weed. 8-10oz will last me a very long time. If I grew constantly I'd have enough for years after a few grows. Been thinking of doing that. One plant every 3 months is fine by me.growing isnt cheap and good smoke takes time.
i ended up with a green thumb. i think the hulk is my bio daddy.
so luckily it didnt take me much but about 4-5 hundred bucks and a couple hours out of each night.
now its buying new soil nutes and pots. paying my electricity bill. taking an couple hours every few days for water cleaning and maintanance, & boom i got good buds and allot of em.
i harvest a plant sometimes two with my perpetual harvest.
every week.

Dude, I hope that's not the window you are talking about that you set it next to. lol. Just to see, do you take the curtain off at least? Definitely not enough light. Just to let you know. I started mine indoor/outdoor depending on the conditions, but all by sunlight for the first month. It's tough because even if you put it in the light inside in the morning the sun moves, so you have to continuously move your plants if you want that to work. Get a light if you're going to try. Some guys use CFL's and I'm sure a few of those would be better than a window with a curtain. lol.
