Hash time!

I haven't made any hash since February when I got 102 grams.

I finally ran out and decided to process all my trimmings and low quality bud. I had 15 bags.

I started emptying the bags into the bucket. I filled about this full:

Which is about here:

Then I added dry ice:

Then I put my 220 micron bag on the top:

Then I turn upside down and shake vigorously.

Then I end up with this:

I did 3 separate batches because I could not fit it all in the bucket at once. The small piles are from the first runs. The long pile is the second pass. You can see it get greener as it goes toward the left. I will be using it all for medibles so I wanted to be efficient, even if it is a little bit of plant matter.

All in all I got about 240 grams. That's about 8.5 ounces.

I had to wash my cloths too. It got everywhere. I even swept up and threw away a whole dust pan full:

I had the 15 one gallon zip lock bags full that is in the first picture. I don't know how much that weighed. The dry ice freezes everything and makes it brittle. When you shake the bag all the weed and trimmings gets pulverized by the dry ice, and all the resin glands freeze solid and fall through the 220 micron screen. Everything smaller than 220 microns (the hash) falls to the table, and everything larger stays in the bag. Far less mess than the ice/water method. Much faster too.

I do a very similar thing, although I have a box/table to contain it in so it doesn't fly all around the room.Impressive haul you got there.

I just make honey oil with butane and the honey bee extractor... It FUCKs you UP!!! But I make bubble hash and I don't do the whole bags and ice thing. I'm old school with it.

Unless you had like 240 grams that were dust free on the table. When would I ever use floor hash? I'll have another mountain of trimmings by the time I consume all this hash.

Seeing this reminded me I have a couple grams stashed in my dope desk.
I took 1/2 a teaspoon and added it to my coffee and cream 2 brownies, smokin Green Crack, football all day life is good!!

Where do you get the bags from ?

I ordered a set of them online. It was the off brand bags. I only use the 220 screen though, too much hassle to separate it all. All I do is bake it into medibles.

I just did a dry ice run as well, the weight return on kief is about 10%...so you really need at least a QP of material to make it worth the effort.

Damn, that's a lot of kief!...so do U make butter with it?. I press mine into hash.
