Hey Nugs and fellow Mainliners,

My MozPoz males are blooming and dropping dust!

Questions:

1. What is the best way to selectively apply the pollen to the flowers?

2. Which flowers are best to pollinate?

Thanks!
Mo

i use a big mirror laid on the table....inside the house away from any virgins.......gently tap the trunk with the flowers close to the glass, after he is milked.....take a razor blade and scrape it up into a pile...place in small container...then take a small paint brush and gently apply to a few floral clusters....mark branch with twist tie.....i like hitting a non-dominant branch on the outside perimeter.... pollinate between 3 and 4 weeks of flower....good luck.

Thought I'd share a pic of my first try at mainlining... this is a Jillybean that I mainlined... she spent about 56 days in veg and I probably could have super cropped her a bit more

very nice...yeah just a little bit more suppercropping would have flattened her out a bit, but she looks great.....those are going to be some donkeys!

Thanks, means a ton coming from you, fell in love with your threads a while back;)
I am super excited even though I lost 2 tops at one point when I was tying down;
Will definitely be using this method with my main cola dominant strains in the future assuming a good yield..

Your original description of mainlining also really helped me understand the growth patterns, props to you for eloquently displaying the technique for nublets like me ;)

What's up Nugbuckets? Curious how late into the game you stop any super cropping. Do you keep squeezing stems through the stretch period? Don't remember reading that in here, but maybe I missed it.

Thanks again.

i try to do as little supper-cropping as possible, but will do it in the first 1/2 of stretch if needed....a fair ammount of my style is pretty gentle, with lighter pinches, to suppress just enough to get the desired effect.

Thanks, dude. I'm keeping it minimal, but my center branches are trying to shoot up above the outers. Just trying to keep them in check with a little light pinching.

It's getting real close to blast off time. Can't wait to see this main-lining technique work it's magic!!!

Nugs!!!!
That is one healthy outdoor girl for the temps you are having. That manifold is amazing. The buds are so nice and dark green. Are you still giving them N? What is the source? I know you supplement with tea sometimes. What do you like to use?

My big clone in the trashcan is fading fast. The temps have dropped from the 90s to the 70s with 60s at night. I have burnt tips so I am pretty sure I am feeding enough. Just seem to be loosing water leaves and the bud leaves are starting to lighten. I will post some pics later.

Cheers,
Mo

Burrrrrrrr! My Aunt and Uncle posted pictures of snow on their porch in Denver!

This is Malawi Gold so it might just fade out hard at the end. This is way too much fun!
