Great White Shark/ 600W/ 100% Perlite

Hello everyone and welcome to my second run of GWS in 100% perlite!:) I'll be using 2 clones that I took from the previous plants which yielded around 5 oz each, which I thought wasn't too bad for my first time in this style of growing :bigjoint:

Strain: Greenhouse's Great White Shark


Nutrients: CYCO'S full range.


Lighting: 600w HPS cooltube


Tent: Seahawk 1.2x.1.2x2.0


Medium: 100% Perlite

I just did a great white shark grow. I had two plants. one was covered in trics and the other not so much. good luck with your grow.

sup gorbz liked the last round and im joining in for this one too! im just nearing the end of my first 100% perlite grow and im overly impressed with it , so simple yet such fast growth .... not to mention its the cheapest medium i have used ... besides water :D

Hey curly! Glad to see you again :) yeah im also loving the perlite, and the little girls are loving cycos nutes too! Ive gone a little heavy on the feeding so the leaves are slightly curling up but they should adjust in no time.

wonder what the deal is with the trichs hey, seems strange that one comes out with heaps and the other comes out with hardly any!

Yeah very strange indeed! And the other thing is, I dont know which plant these clones are from! Time will tell I guess

definitely subbed....can you go a little more in depth into your perlite/bucket method? So this is a hydro bucket with perlite as the medium?

love the set-up, am running similar set-up just organic soil instead of liquid nute's subbed and looking forward to this excellent job!

Yeah thats pretty much it mate, I feed with watering halos as you can see in the day one pic (I have submerged them now). I feed about every 2 hours for 15 mins. Then it runs through the perlite and back out into the res which is outside the grow tent.

Good man!! shweeeeet as Gorbzzz, you know what you're doin ;) a little curled on the edges from transition perhasps... other than that the vigor of the leaves is impressive soo far, and these will take off faster than your last in my opinion. Good luck! as if i'm not subbed :p

haha thanks flo! If anyone wants to know more about this system flowa is the master! See what I dd there? 8) I learnt this style from him and he gets over a LB from a single plant in less than 3 months!

yeah flo I looked up about the leaf curl like that and its a overload of Nitrogen, I checked my ppm and its around 1300-1400 when it should only be around 1000 first week and 1200 second week. But once they get a bit stronger and bigger they should adjust :)
