Tell me what you think of my Marijuana Plants

I started The Germination about 8 Days ago, They have been planted for about 4 days and i just transplanted them today. I am a newbie to the whole growing thing and i really need advice!
I also have to be sneaky so i dont really have a bigger grow area and i also DON'T have access to fertilizers or and real equipment. Just look at these pictures and tell me if my set-up is good enough or any other tips.

This is one of my plants and it has been growing for about 4 Days now and I just put it in this half gallon container today... The pop-sickle sticks are there because the plant was leaning pretty bad and could not support itself (From what i know if they lean that means they aren't getting enough light so i added another light and some tin foil

This is my Growing Area and it is about only 1.5 feet wide and deep and about 4.5 feet tall. I have 2 lava lamps upside down on a cardboard square and cut out circles cut out for the lava lamps, also the is a pretty bright florescent light in there too. Also i have a small battery operated fan and tin foil on all the walls for reflection

This is just another picture of the growing setup

P.S. I can move the lights up and down as much as i want and also i am using miracle grow. And i water them a couple times a day with a spray bottle

That is pretty much everything im doing so any and all advice is really helpful!

I dont like the containers either but its all i have to use so if you have any good homemade ideas i would do it

I like the containers but I hate the plants.

You aren't getting enough light on them. They are going to stretch, fall over and then die.

Plant in little cups, then you can transplant deeper so they don't look so stretched.

Get that light as close as possible without burning.

They need air circulation to make them sturdy as well .......Get a fan and remember if a fly can hang on the breeze is just right ..

The sticks will damage roots if inserted too far. Be careful

Need to build the soil up on them as much as possible. Maybe re plant them and bring the soil under the bottom leaves. everything else will turn into a root system. Always could use more lights!!! The containers I don't have an issue with especially since I have almost mature plants in ice cream buckets.

well i am scared to replant them because i dont want to kill the roots but i am gonna throw some more soil on top to try to bury the stem more... and also i do have a fan in there so they do get some circulation... And i cant really add anymore lights to that little cabinet without it being a fire hazard

IMO, you should just abort the grow if you have to be so low budget and so quiet about it... you need adequate space and lighting to really be able to produce anything.

Hi man,

first of all you need to lower them lights to stop the plants from stretching too much like they are doing at the moment, lower the lights as close u can get them without burning them. rule of thumb is to place the back of your hand below the light, go as close to your hand as much as poss to a point where the heat is comfortable and dosnt burn, by doing this you will stop them stretching to the point where you have to place wooden sticks in the soil, THIS IS NOT GOOD FOR THE ROOTS!

secondly, what are you trying to achieve out of this grow? the space what your in at the moment is too small! what lights are you using and what humidity are you at and have you got enough air circulation? you need to think this through man before starting something like this because if you dont its gonna end in dissapointment.

im only looking to get a decent amount of bud just to smoke im not growing to like try to make money... if i even got an ounce of both of them together i would be happy! lol and yeah i know that its best to have high quality equipment and enough space but im not trying to grow them huge or anything just enough to smoke also i did remove the sticks and put more soil in there so they do hold themselves up now and i lowered the lights so they aren't stretching too much anymore

I would fashion your box after the PC grow boxes out there. You can search and see a lot of good examples. You will definitely want to SCROG and/or train for SOG effect given your grow dimensions, but you will have a height advantage to a grow 'box'. It can definitely be done. 6500 k cfl for veg and 2700 k for flower. Good luck man!

This is just an update on my plants, I Moved the whole grow area to my closet because there is more room to work with in there.

This is the basic set-up, i have the 2 lava lamps hanging over the plants so i can easily lower or heighten the lights anytime and i have the fluorescent lights over the backside

The inside of the box is lined with tin foil for extra light and the fan keeps a nice breeze on the plants

These are the plants which are growing nice in my opinion

Also i have a couple of questions
1. Im using miracle grow on these plants, are they still safe to smoke if i use miracle grow??
2. Is there any possible chance that i will get any yield in these half gallon buckets or is it extremely necessary to have bigger pots??
3. Does this seem like an adequate set-up to get any bud??
