in my opinion, if you can incorporate a little blue light throughout your flower cycle, that would be ideal.....but i also like the idea of graduating the ammout of red light.....i run about 5800K in my veg, and 3500 in my flower.....Hmm... When I flip these main-lines to 12/12, do you think I'd benefit more from the blue MH (600 W conversion) light for the first couple weeks, or go ahead with the full (non-conversion) lumens of the HPS right at the switch?
Sorry this isnt 100% relevant here...
they look great....looks like you can prune for 4 anyday....just pick a nice symetrical set.Hey nuggs i got that update for you, 2 bag seed ronmulan, 5 space dawgs, 1 heavy duty fruity. No sex yet, will only keep they best out of these. Running a 600 watt light, fan and exhaust fan. Of soil and light feedings of mother plant, hygrozyme, silica blast for ph up and hygrozyme for ph down!! 4 weeks old and bag seeds 6 weeks old topped for 8 tops already, and others topped once for hub, nugs when should i top them again for 4? Transplanted the 29th!! Have a stony day
assuming they are from seed, and are still in a symetrical pattern....just a node with even axial growth on both sides.....just a simple pinch on a symmetrical main. What do you mean by "symmetrical" can you explain please?
Seeds keep symmetrical branches meaning 2 branches coming off the stem at the same height. So something is symmetrical if you can imagine what your looking at pictured in a box border, draw a line down the middle and pretend folding the image over. No matter if you fold it left or right over the axis the one side will look just like the other. Plants start growing alternating nodes once they have matured and or are clones. Basically the whole reason behind using the word symmetry is trying to describe keeping all the branches as even with growth as possible. So that first initial top for 2 mains will be symmetrical because they are at the lower end of the plant.Ok i think i understand but to be clear you think you may have a picture to explain? I know you had said this about the clones also and have explained but i am just as picky as anybody with there plants, just dont want to mess up, and they are from seed
sure, you will just have 2 mains, and a bunch of secondaries....Hey nugs. If I let all these branches grow off one bend and no more topping. Since it is still off a single node. Do you think it could have same end result?

The reason I ask is because of stress. My strain is master kush from dutch passion. Half of the. Mainlined masters hermied on a couple of buds at the bottom. Not full blown. I was reading about hermies on the dutch passion site. They said their blueberry and master can hermie from the slightest bit of stress. These strains are only for the experienced professional. Im up there. But stress is the only conclusion I can come too.
I just did pop some flav seeds. Trying to decide between popping qush or agent orange now or or do both
