I couldn't agree more. Secondly, all those people out there who support Obama's health insurance mandate - commerce by gun to your head - need to understand that if the government can force us to buy health insurance, there isn't anything that it can't force us to buy - commerce by gun to your head!

Right, you are. Driving is privilege. You don't have to drive. You are allowed to. So, you absolute are not forced to buy auto insurance. There is no penalty on your taxes every year if you don't.

You don't have to buy heath insurance and you can still drive.

And, up to now, there was no penalty on taxes if you were self insured for personal health cost

The Health Care bill sounds like socialist medicine UNTIL you hear that some people are starting to be helped by it ......More people on food stamps and welfare sounds really bad BUT there are lots of people who need it right now- the bad economy changes my view on these subjects. If the economy was fine, I would likely argue against this stuff!

Ideally we need a healthy ecomomy so people don't need medical, food and welfare assistance.....but the economy is still pretty bad and the job numbers are still horrible....so, unless the republicans can offer a better plan......ya know what I'm sayin'!!

if you worked, obama's legislation saved you $400 a year for each year you worked.

if you were unemployed, obama's legislation exempted the first $2400 of you UI from taxation.

there were also other tax breaks. obama just doesn't brag about them like shrub did.
