My first setup. Critical Kush, Vanilla Kush, Violator Kush. Feedback please!

Hello!

First of all I wanna say that my english sux, so I know I will write alot´s of wrongs..


Well.. I´m new to this and Monday 17th September I started putting seeds into riots. I chose to use hydroponic dripping 24 pot system. Got two 600w lamps, timer, filters ++

I started with 14 x Critical Kush, 5 x Vanilla Kush and 5 x Violator Kush. I don´t know if it´s normal, but after 4 days the strain was about 8-9 cm. Today some of them are as tall as 15cm only 8 days after putting them into riots.

On Saturday (24th) I transfered 14 of the riots into pots, giving 24h light with only one lamp. Today I started with 18/6 full capacity with two lamps. My PH level is around 5,7-6,0 and my ppm level is around 580-600 (is that normal)?

Using nutrients from FLORA, Micro, Grow, Bloom. Started with 2,5-2,5-2,5 dividing it on 2 this first week and will go 2,5 as recommended next week. How often shall I give my plants nutrient when my tank is around 150 liter? Once a week or more?

I also have a little problem cuz the strains are now so high that most of them don´t stand up so I had to put some sticks to give support, but the sticks are beginning to get to short. Any solution for that and will they stand up as they get thicker, even tough they are laying down now?

As I said this is my first time, so I bet I´m doing somethng wrong.. :p

Now the lamps are now about 50 cm over the strains. I also bought some long "sticks" today for support. Will post some more pics when the light turns on.
Acually the stretching happened before I sat them inside the tent. They were already 10-12cm when I putted them there, but now it´s looking really good I think.

But I had one question about nutrients. How often shall I give and shall I change all of the water or just add?

50 cm = somewhere near 20' that's too high but it doesn't justify such elongation, exactly what type of lamp are you using?

I have to of this one:

Lumatek 600w digital ballast
Adjust-A-Wing medium
Superplant 600w (MH)
Philips Son-T-PIA green power 600w (HPS)


When I woke up this morning I went to check the temperature and it was around 32C! :o That´s not good right? I use two fan and I have fresh air incoming from ventile + outgoing... Yesterday it was around 28C, so I don´t know what happened tonight.. What to do?

"justify such elongation" what does that mean?
= I mean that your stem are not supposed so long and weak under a 600w

Ideal max temp is 25C
Distance from light to top of plants sould be between 30cm and 45 cm

Ahh ok.. Thx mate! Yeah, I wondered how the F*** they got so long.. But I will lower my lamps and try to get temperature down aswell.. My EC is around 0,8 now, but I will try to get it down to 0,5 when dark period is over..
But will the stem get stronger fast?

They will get better now that the leafs are developing it will give some strength to those plants. You tie them to a tutor it will also help, just make sure they aren't too tight

Does anyone know if it´s ideal to flush and then dry (starv) them for 4-5 days during flowering? Watched strainreview from Greenhouse and he said it was nessecary to do so three times.
Bought an extra fan to help me get temperature down.. But it doesen´t make sence. Got air in by a big fan to the ventile and air out by (dont know the word in english) filter + one small and one big fan. Still the temperature is a bit high..

A little update:

It´s day four with veg. The plants are getting bigger and stronger and some of them does no longer need support to stand up. Have a little issue with my EC level. Tried for serveral days now to get it down, but it wont go lower than 0,5-6. Is that a problem? Called my grow shop and they told me not to give more nutrients before EC level was down around 0.4. It´s four days since I gave them nutrients. All of my plants have now developed leaves and some of them are starting on their fourth set. Looking good so far I think. Will post more pics when they are getting bigger.

Hey again! Got a little question. Some of the plants are starting to get a little bit light-green/yellow in the middle.. Is that normal? Even dough they are getting this color they are still growing fine.. It seems like some of them are growing slower than the others.
