Going Organic

Maybe it's just me, but I won't let landfill compost anywhere near something that I am going to eat, drink, smoke or vape. Landfill compost is a "composted" mix of yard waste (lawn clippings, etc). People LOVE to spray their lawns and yards with toxic chemicals like RoundUp and Raid.

As far as the pH adjustment, JUST DON'T DO IT! You said yourself that you don't want to deal with pH fluctuations, so DON'T! That's the joy of organic gardening, the beneficial microbes handle that part for you if your soil is healthy and alive.

True that bro, I didn't even think about that. Thanks for pointing this out before I planted some plants in it. lol

Yup I stated this a few post ago, the more I worry about it the more problems I will probably have, and more money would be spent. That would be unnecessary.

Overall some good info in your posts + rep man.

Thanks, man. I'd give the Super Soil a try first (follow directions closely) and you'll have a good base of experience to branch off and tweak things how you like.

If you really want to go organic, great -- but understand what you're getting into.
Not sure what you are implying here? More work? I spend FAR less time fiddling with my garden now that I've gone organic, and I'm happier with the finished product.
