I call BS on the 200mph. Show a GPS of it. Not a speedo shot. The speedo is 8-10% off.Love bikes as much as I love weed and music.
Started with a 89 Yamaha FZR 1000 at age 17. Only bike I've ever dumped with normal riding, wobble of death if any of you know what that is. Went to a 90 FZR 600, yes 600, to learn more before I stepped back up to the 1000 club, had that for 2-3 years along with a cbr 600 I did stunts on during that silly phase. Rode a friend's black 92 GSXR 1100 and in a few minutes I knew what my next bike would be.
In 94 I bought a new GSXR 1100. Had that for 3 years until I rode a 750 and bumped down to that cc with a new blue and white one in 99. Keep that going with many mods until the 05 GSXR 1000 model which is probably my all time favorite year and size. Currently own the 25th anniversary 2010 GSXR 1000. It will be my last.
I'm no longer evading police and taunting death, as much. But sportbiking will always be in my blood. Every spring I get the fever, my dick gets hard and one ride on her is better then any pussy I've ever gotten. (not really)
I never understood the stunt riding as much. Yes I learned tricks and stunts early on, even had a stunt bike long before most were doing it(1993) but for me from about 94 to present I love nothing more then top speeds, winding curves and long highway trips. I dread putting through town with full leathers looking like I have nowhere to go. I grew out of the stunt/showoff phase quickly. Tricks are for kids, but to each their own. You have to show your low speed skills sometimes I guess.
And yes, sportbikes can do 200 mph + I've done it with all my near stock 1000s. Anyone who has been in the 1000 club know this. My nephew's friend was actually the jackass that got the 200 mph+ speeding ticket in MN. He told me he wasn't even doing 180.
Love the Ghost Rider Series. That shit is insane and that's what I liked to do at my level. Would of loved to learn and ride with those guys.
STAY SAFE FELLOW BIKERS! A lot of shitty drivers out there.
SHARE THE ROAD.

I am guessing your replying to my post?
yea its funny how people go buy the speedometer even when its tapped out, but the RPMs are still rising, that dude was prolly going a good 240Be fair!! It's not even red-lining yet !!'
For sure!! I'd whack that myself personally but is still prefer a CBR600 again!!yea its funny how people go buy the speedometer even when its tapped out, but the RPMs are still rising, that dude was prolly going a good 240
True but I think that applies to car drivers more, especially the ones who can't even reverse park. To be a good biker takes a lot more than that. You have to look ahead in traffic, do ur lifesaver, forget indicators and look at wheel direction etc. I drive round Barca city daily sin problemas and London before that. Awareness is the key IMO .Anyone can go fast on a sports bike. cornering is where it's all at!
You just gave me a little chub.....hell yeah girl!!!.......going by speedo 168 with a passenger and 176 solo here!!! God I miss South Florida's arrow straight perfectly smooth blacktop roads!Eh ?? What's the problem? Even I've done 147 mph and I'm a girl!! Of course the machine can do, can you?
Ohh so true....I find myself starring at wheels when driving the car...lol... It's amazing at how riding(hard fkn riding) in a congested city where the average age is 60 and blind can make you a better driver all around.True but I think that applies to car drivers more, especially the ones who can't even reverse park. Couldn't get my piglet over 120. Electra Glide, almost completely stock except the windshield was bobbed.I've never understood how you guys & girls ride those things.
I learned to ride on 78 kz400ltd when I was 15 ( in 2003) lol the bike had 298.1 Kms on it, guy bought it new, found the death wobble and never rode again lol it now has 3000.1 Kms.
Own a 95 HD wide glide now, she's taken me coast to coast and hasn't skipped a beat running 130 mph.
I haven't dumped a bike yet, so I wouldn't change anything. Only things I can say is keep your head on a swivel and that there's only 2 types of bikers, those who have fallen and those who haven't fell yet.
