I was using a conservitive weight of 10g wich is a guess at so many variables. Now that 1k light of yours can do better because that 10g is based on floros grows I read.Read the link...It is all about perpetual sog from a commercial op.

i think you are seriously over thinking your grow, your yields are good in your current setup but you are really cramming them in there. 10 plants that large are way to much for a 1k, i flower in a 4x8 room with x2 1ks and hit a bit more than you per lamp (usually around 20-22 zips per 1k) with 12 plants total. i think you should drop down your count to say 5-6 and try implementing topping and trimming and i think you will gain some yield. sog is cool i never liked it because of the amount of clones needed, a true sog is 4 plants per square foot (would mean 64 total in your 4x4 tray) and trimming every branch that will exceed a few inches (harvesting nothing more than a plants main cola) this is a art as well not allot of people are comfy hacking that much plant material from there plants, i perlonally like to take 50% more clones then needed to ensure the first 64 (for your grow) to root are the strongest of the cuttings then (depending on your cloning method mine is rapid rooters) you will need to transplant to something like 6"x6" square pots filled with hydroton (there are many different mediums out there im just naming how i have done in the past) this will involve some veg time as the clones will need time to root into the new medium, usually 7 days for signs of new growth then flop to flower if you desire, you can also veg for longer as long as when they hit flower your eliminating all the branches that exceed 1-2". but as stated above with a expectation of 10g's a plant even with 64 your still only gaining a few ounces a harvest, allot of cloning and work for a few onces imo.

Now that's what I was looking for! Great advice and explanation! I've made my decision and really appreciate everyone for their time and advice!

Even clones from a mature mother under say a 600 watt hps?
thks in advance.
not sure what you are asking but any plant you are taking clones from should be "mature", im not saying anything about the maturity of the plant just stating that if you take a fresh rooted clone from your dome and stick it in a 6x6 pot and straight to flower it will not grow for the first week flower or veg no matter, it takes time for a clone to root into its new home and that is time lost in veg or flower so a i stated a 7 day veg at least will be necessary to hit those numbers period, and as with any grow more veg=more yield. havent seen to many clones straight from the dome to flower hitting 14g colas.

Thks you answered my question.I just want your opinion if I may?Would you think it would be cheating to get those weights (14g+) with zero veg 12/12 clone (I will stray from saying rooted clone but a clone with roots),then the plant was topped early to mid stretch. Then partial harvest side branching colas near late flower, allowing bottom bud to pack on more weight before final chop?
Thanks again in advance if you can voice your opinion on this.

Sorry OP...glad you found your answer.

Here, I'll give you a marker.
After about 30 runs, sog ala AL.B.Fuct. I get typically 10-15g per plant sometimes more, sometimes less.
Thks Ten.....The numbers are not in yet but I am confident in reaching my goal of 14g per plant with one of my garden strains.
Thks again for your time.

p.s. it pays getting Fuct.:bigjoint:
