Think again
Your hospital balance all figures in your FICO score whether you are paying on time or not

Pssssst
Check to see if they are charging you administration fees and nominal interest

Pssst

Your still a asshat

Really been paying my pain doc for years. And last time i checked my credit score it was 770
Bet that is better than yours.

Involving insurance companies in anyway in some government healthcare scheme is full on retard. If you really want to see health insurance companies prosper, give it a few years with government intervention.
I agree! Insurance companies should prosper quite a bit when Obama's commerce-by-gun-to-your-head kicks in and starts to force everyone to patronize them!

Yeah, like Medicare and Medicaid work so much better.

This is an odd comparison. I thought you people didn't believe in health care rationing - something that every for profit health ensurance engages it. I thought you didn't like death panels, something that for profit health care insurance winds up doing every time it considers paying for major - and in their minds, questionable proceedures.

The right tends to ignore the faults of for profit health insurance companies in favor of pointing out the dificiences of government health programs.

The point is simple, in the private world of health, you don't have the money - you die. Where is that a reasonable practice?

Well damn i am alive!
And i do not have health insurance.
But did spend 5 days in the hospital a month ago and they put me on a payment plan that works for me.

How nice for you. And if you had spent 30 days? you would likely lose your home, your savings and your credit worthiness. You kiss the feet of those who were good enough to put you on a payment plan do you?

You seem to be delusional, thinking that nobody gets care if they dont have insurance.
Had dental work done also,Guess what!Payment plan also and my pain doc bills me and so on.
You gotta come up with something a little better.

Delusional? Do you really think that should you need intensive chemo and radiation therapy for cancer that they would take you in and then arrange a payment plan for you? Do you really think that they would give you a new liver and then send you on your way with a "pay us when you can" plan?

What is it about the right that they can live in such a distorted little bubble? 40,000 people a year die because they don't have health insurance. When you go into the hospital and find yourself worrying about the cost of each proceedure they offer, the cost of those little bags of solution they hang by your bed, the cost of every hour you are in the ER, the cost of each of the cadre of doctors that troops past you and nods as they look at your chart and your face - that isn't the way anyone gets "well". Most of those who believe that it is only natural to have to worry about such things, in exactly the same way they worry when they take their car to the mechanic have never been truely frightened at the consequences of their emergency.

Most of them have never experienced such horror while they blindly carry on in their fantasy that everything will be ok and somehow they will be treated well because after all.."we have the greatest health care system in the world".

Right?

What do you mean "you people"?
What insurance (or ensurance, if you prefer) have death panels?

Maybe some of them do, I'm not on the right. I do know that government fucks up almost everything it touches and why anybody would want to turn over control of the healthcare system to a bunch of bureaucrats that have no accountability, is beyond me.

The point is simple, in the private world of health, you don't have the money - you die. Where is that a reasonable practice?
Uh, reality? It's nature's way. Why is that so hard to understand? You do realize that no matter how good your healthcare is, no matter how much money you have and no matter how much in love with the state, you are... you are going to die.

Ask somebody on the right.

40,000 people a year die because they don't have health insurance.
Even Michael Moore said it was 18,000... where did you pull THAT figure from?

Sounds like a bunch of worrywarts to me.

Oh, puhlease....

Yes you are, but that time can be postponed, or don't you believe in that?

It all depends. If it is going to cost more than what I deem reasonable, then no. When your number is up, it's up.
Where are the names of the insurance companies that have death panels?
Do you want the healthcare system to be run like the Post Office? Long lines, poor service and going broke?

They all do Neutron, they all will at this point, cut off payment for you care at a yearly limit or a life time limit and they all dictate which proceedures they will pay for.

What is it with Americans and their aversion to lines? If you don't like the line at your post office you can go to another delivery service and pay more. That is how America works and health care is no different. What you are trying to do is tell me that because you don't like lines I shouldn't be able to have affordable health care.

Nice try, putting words in my mouth. Why don't you just do what Buck does and call me some stupid names and equate my credibility with my horticulture skills, accuse me of YOUR transgressions and hijack the thread to diffuse anymore piling on.
You said insurance companies HAVE death panels, not WILL, I want to know which ones.

YES!!! YES!!! YES!!! Lord, Hallelujah! Now you've got it. Competition. Competition that keeps computers, TVs, cars, housing, laser eye surgery and everything else affordable. It's not lines and you know it, you're being disingenuous and dishonest.

funny, germany mandates that their health insurers be non-profit, yet they still compete fiercely and insure all their citizens for less than it costs us to let ours die in the streets and go bankrupt.

reconcile this government interference into the free market with more desirable results, you mustachioed hooker lover.

Then you should move to Germany. Why do you insist on turning America into another failed socialist state?

if you don't like efforts to make our health care system more like the ones that work better by insuring all for less than it costs us to let our citizens die and go bankrupt, then you should move to mexico and get it on with mustachioed hookers while smoking brown schwag.

oh, wait...

Typical authoritarian response. You can't stand the fact that some people have more than you, so you're going to make 'em pay, no matter what.

i do believe the crying baby here is the guy who totally tried to ignore germany's superior health care system (replete with government interference and heavy competition) and huffed and puffed and blew up his cheeks and with spittle flying and fat, crusty old fingers pounding the keyboard told me to move to germany.
