the tin foil is not about reflection, its about the government. not only do i make growboxes i make hats and i always keep a roll at my house. The properties of tin foil allow freaks of nature like the leaf bud to thrive

At best foil has a reflection at 55% ONLY WHEN LAYED PERFECTLY FLAT. When you has creases the reflection goes down to around 35%. Creases also creates reflection hot spots.
White plastic is anywhere from 75-95% reflective I have used large white trash compactor bags and white duct tape when in a pinch...worked fine, got me out of my pinch.
Flat white paint 75-85% reflectivity and no hot spots.
Mylar or IR film has a 92-97% reflectivity.
Again foil is the absolute worst thing to have in a room with plants, period.

if you have good lights and proper size plants reflection doesnt even matter that much in my opinion

if u need reflection ur plants are too tall or ur light isnt good enough or both tf is fine

Whats are you talking about? Its not about what you need to grow a plant its about giving it a environment to thrive.
If your not using reflection your wasting lumens which is wasting money spent and money that could be made.

I read all about the magics of tin foil in some grow guides but all i can find in the store is aluminum foil Where do you guys get the real deal?
