Thanks Dan nice photo post, is that the Santa Cruz nursery thin mint pheno you have? How did you come across your GSC seed strain?

Our Thin Mint GSC we acquired from SpeedyWeedy in Napa started off slow and came on strong with incredible spear colas early on. They're in an all organic soil medium feed by slow release amendments in a greenhouse environment with all day sunshine.

I’m into the Platinum GSC it’s so much better than the Thin Mint. The Platinum from seed pheno is way sweet.

Nope. That one came strait from the sunset. I've got clones from 6 different sources. Seeds from 2 different sources, but one of those turned out fake.

Well it looks like a winner to me. You going to put that cutting out in dispensaries? If so, please let me know! I've got a few phenos from seeds that put out colas like that, but from what I can tell yours has superior resin production.

I traded my DHN platinum cut for an elite pheno of pineapple kush. I don't regret it, but I wish I still had it. :(

I love platinum cookies. Heavy hitter.

How the hell did you manage to get that from seed?

I don't know yet. That thin mint cut is definitely a keeper for outdoor growing. I've got a few phenos from seed that I'm going to do a test run Indoors on. They produce fat colas, but I'm not sold on the resin production. Some strains just run better inside, so I'm going to give it a shot. But I'm still not satisfied that I have one truly badass GSC pheno yet. I'm going to do another round of seeds and keep looking most likely.

Have any indoor grown shots of your cut of "GSC"? Dried flower shots? Because those outdoor pictures don't look like the real deal...
I'm growing one of your cuts from HHSO side-by-side to the real deal (not from a club), and it looks more like that Fortune Cookie.

"The Platinum from seed pheno is way sweet." -You can't be serious about this one. So, you popped some s1 bagseed and sell cuts of it as labled as Platinum Cookies? Or are you going to say it's a cross of like "Plat. Bubba X GSC"...lmfao I'm not new to this industry and I do have knowledge of seed breeding. There is way too much misinformation about this strain!

He didn't say it's bag seed. It's possible he has an inside hookup. All these strains came from seeds at some point. Even if it is s1 bagseed, that doesn't prohibit it from being as good as the original. We can tell from those pics that homeboy knows a thing or two. I'd be interested in hearing the story about where those came from.

It's nearly going to be impossible to find the right "real deal" GSC pheno in S1 seeds. What you will find are hermie prone, poly-hybrid offspring that resemble almost nothing like the original. I managed to reverse her and collect feminized pollen from bottom branches of a GSC plant ;using a colloidal silver solution. In an attempt to create a bx1 for seed stabilization, but nothing came out close to the original. Some had the GS Cookie smell, but low resin production, fluffy buds, etc.
 
Right on sin, thats cool ass info and alwsys wonder about self polination. Those cookies look dank as hell, like put it a bowl of milk dank. Lol

Can.you smell the minty/crackery smell in veg?

Still, he could have a real deal hook up for the original plat cookies. You never know...

"Platinum" is just a marketing ploy in used in dispensaries, especially with this strain. It's actually the bigger buds from GSC. Sometimes relabled as "Cookie Monster"; again it's another way to make $ off of the hype.

so this "platinum cookies" is just a larger yielding pheno?
