I always though that was just a republican talking point but that's true.:-|

Its dropped a little lower then 50% but still 47%.?

This is like every person in america who pays taxes has one of their bum ass cousins crashing at their house.

At this rate I say fuck paying any taxes and put up more tolls.

It's funny that most of them ARE republicans. Or at least the top 10 states are republican territories.

Of course it is true. It is the specifics beneith that wholesale number that tells the tale. You presume that if someone doesn't pay income tax they must be getting food stamps or welfare. Most enlisted people don't pay income tax. Most of the aged don't pay. Most students don't pay, many families with children don't pay, lots of the working poor don't pay.

And of course, many millionares don't pay.

We have 140 million jobs in this country and a population currently estimated at 312 million. I'd think at best 45% could even pay taxes. cn

It's a staggering number but it's also a lot more complicated and not cut and dry. Our tax system is a complete and utter mess we have democrats and republicans slipping special favors in the tax code at will and hide it in the complexity. The only true way to fix it, is to simplify, it's much harder to hide an elephant in a swimming pool than in a jungle.

Would but nice, but won't happen. They're going to give up their under the table bonuses for the rest of us.

Dead easy actually ... just deploy the pool cover. (Might have to give Dumbo a Mickey.) cn

Will any one of you Obama supporters admit the democrat party caters to the 47%ers in trade for their votes?

I will not because you distort it throught the lense of the selfish right. Did you think that maybe the 47 percenters are the ones who believe in what this country actually stands for and that the Democratic party is not pandering for votes but acting according to the will of those who are members?

Now, my question, will you admit that the Republicans pander the vote of the rich in order that the rich might avoid paying the taxes that they accuse the 47 percent of not paying?

So im guessing you are gonna vote for mitt romney? You do realize that if he wins he plans on making cannabis illegal completely right? and whats wrong with obama helping the middle class?
You agree that the rich should get richer and the mid class should be poor? he believes in fair opportunity,i haven't seen too many people with that.Either way obama most likely win and if romney does say goodbye MJ and hello Anti-Christ.

How did I distort the question, it's simplistic, it's to the point and it's true. If you disagree, well, that's your opinion!

No I don't believe the republican party panders to the wealthy for tax cuts.

Anyone who believes this is foolish. The wealthy you are speaking of make up probably 2% of the electorate, how naive to think the right panders to the rich for this reason when the rich are so few.

I believe the right understands that the wealthy are the job creators and the only hope for a prosperous economy.

Cmon dude, I have way more important things to worry about than whether Romney openly is against MMJ and the fact Obama fucks us with a smile on his face.

I believe in equal opportunity for all Americans, not the equal redistribution of wealth!

I couldn't believe it when I found out there was a thing called Unearned Tax Credit. A person who makes nothing during the year can receive a tax refund check! So beyond not paying taxes they can actually collect money too. Hell ya they'll vote for Obama.

The right understands that in this age of unlimited and anonymous contributions, money is direct influence. you cannot argue that Republicans intrangence on tax increases for the wealthy is hindering our country's return to normalcy. You cannot argue that individual contributors are aware that their ROI on contributions to the Right is huge. You may try to argue this nonsesense about "job creators" but you yourself have stated that overseas accounts do not create domestic jobs.

A question cannot be "true", only the answer can be. Now did you ask a question or did you make a statement?

So Sad.

I rather hear the truth. Rather than some sugar coated lies. But, that's just me.

Making cannabis illegal? I think Obama has been doing a perfectly good job of that all on his own.

Actually... Obama is the anti-christ.
