last year I started september (my grow log is in my started threads). Got about an ounce per plant... Not bad especially because some were still budding mid December. The thing is you get a lot of fluffy bud because you are only getting 10 hours maybe less of light when the plants actually start to bud in november or very late october... Anyways like the guy said, its a great learning experience. But you will have to plant a lot of plants to get a good amount to last till next years grow season...
No point in starting autoflowering strains now because they are supposed to be grown april when the sun is the best and around 15 hrs of light per day. Autos need 18 hours of light to get full buds and not fluffy ones...
If you are starting late you might as well just get some regular plants because you will get more bud then if you grew autos,....

had to read it 5 times to understand it, but exactly!
Leme clarify it before agreeing with that statement. If you plant late in the season, a normal plant with flower after once it is sexually mature (2-4 weeks). If you plant an autoflowering strain late in the season it will sexually mature in about 2-4 weeks. So it is basically the same thing.... EXCEPT!!!! Autoflowering strains are really made to be in regions where they get 18+ hours of light and very little darkness. If you grow an autoflowering strain in say 12/12 day/night you will end up with little fluffy buds that didnt really fill out real well because autoflowering plants do not need darkness to bud.
SO! There is no point growing autoflowering plants late in the season. You will get more bud off a heavy indica non autoflowering strain then you will from an autoflowering strain late in the season.
After saying all that, now yes I agree partially with your statement.

Dont buy autos. Do buy clones from the local dispensary you will get way more bud from seeds, and you will get bud faster too. You will get more bud from the clones then you will froms auto or regular seeds.
Also get a purple strain because when you grow in the winter when it gets cold you will get a purple plant.

Thanks for the reply beginner.legal.growop. my post was kind of vague but you did get my point and insight you shared about using the clones as opposed to regular seeds was on point. Since I don't have that option I am going with two morphia kush seeds even if they both are males i think this experiment will still let me know what I need to know.

I'm Gona start some outside.....I jus germanatied today as a experiment....I'm Gona use some bag seeds that a buddy of mine gave me from his last grow 2 seasons ago....he gave me bout 50 seeds and I germed 10 today

just put my clones outside a week ago to flower.The ones in the pots, and some small ones in the ground.
My beans have poped, I prefer mine to have an extended tails before placing in the soil. Will be checking in keep us posted i plan to do likewise. Gotta Grow !
