Rubbermaid exaust and ventilation

im using a rubbermaid container for a grow box and need to know what i should use for an exhaust it needs to be quiet bc its a stealth grow box in my closet. also what could i do about the smell when it starts to get bigger and flower? i dont really want to spend a lot of money so if there is any easy and cheap way to do this please help me out

Oh, and for the smell you can get some metal tubing and have an airfilter filled w/ activated carbon that you can get from a pet shop. I'll try to find a link.

alright what should i put on the inside of the container so u cant see the light through from the outside but also helps reflect light? and how do u hook the fans up to a power source? is there any way to connect them to a regular outlet?

fans can be hooked up using an old cell phone charger look in the diy section its very simple, and if you are doing the grow tub desing they normally line the inside with mylar, you can use the emergencey blankiets that you can get wherever they sale camping gear walmart etc....good luck

Check out my rubbermaid containers in my signature. I painted them white on the inside and black on the outside. The tubs don't glow at all like they did before the black paint. It took four cans but it works great. I used Krylon Fusion spray paint for plastic. The computer fans can be wired with a cheap cell phone charger. I got mine from Wal-Mart for $13. Hope this helps.
