ok was going to use clones, but ur sayin its best not too?

i know i can get fruit faster, the info i provided was from some stumbleupon.com site so yea.. she used probably miracle grow and zero nutes treating it like a ficas or some shit. ima treat it like its my sweet sweet cheeba!!!

No clonex or anything needed. Just break the crown off the pineapple when you eat it, then just plant it where ever you want. Lots of sun, water and nutes. That's all. I'm in Hawaii, that's what we do. I've seen half dead crowns that sat on the kitchen counter for over a week start to root when planted.

Dank, you can grow it in a pot, just make sure it's big enough, 5 gal is a minimum. I've got one growing in a leftover pot from last harvest. Make sure you've got enough space, the blades/leaves will get big. Mines currently is about 4ft wide, and growing.

Easy plant to grow. I use dry time release ferts for it cause I really don't care about it. Pretty sure it's a (granular) 13-13-13 fert.

Pineapple clone quite easily. Not all will take, though. They are a bromiliad and almost a cactus. Get stickery as...

woah you didn't need to do that shit. pull the leavy part way from the flesh and there should be a little rootball(soon to be) sticking out, pull the leaves off the bottom 1 inch of it and roots will come from there aswell, just put it in water and it should take, keep the water clean.

He's got some catnip growing there too...but word of warning there NorCal, if it behaves like lemon balm, it tends to be rather invasive. Just keep an eye on it next to your girls. I have lemon balm coming up in my yard 20 feet from where it was planted lol

dudes got lemon balm!!! how do you get it to root? The pine apple i mean.

Yup, you don't need any of the flesh part. I've never put it in water, I just put the crown straight into the dirt. But starting it in water, that might be a faster way. Couldn't hurt either way.

(edit) NorCal, after looking at your pics closer,I'd definitely do as reppinhigh suggested. The crown on your pineapple looks pretty old. Hopefully it isn't too far gone and can be revived. Keep us posted!
