So all three Deep Sleep are rooted now, look what a difference 24 hours made! WOW!

The left one in the pic with Deep Sleep is a long awaited Tahoe OG Finally rooted! No new action on the Chem D but the 1 that is already rooted made some nice progress :bigjoint:
The ones with the red stems may have a deficiency. Lookin' good CannaMan! ..you could build one of those a bit cheaper if you used an air pump & stone instead of the sprayers; the bubbles from the air stone will burst and create a very fine mist that will keep 'em moisturized- just a thougt. How long are you gonna veg those babies? I vegged some Serious Ak47 for 2 weeks and they turned out to be much larger than I had planned (the breeder pack recommended vegging for 3-7 days, lol- I should have taken Serious' advice, it turns out that I do not know more than Simon from Serious... damn, hahaha.)

Glad to see you got the cloner up and running Canna everything looks great. sorry i kind of abandoned the thread been super busy lately bongsmilie
Hey glad to have ya back Ganja! If you do pick one up my advise is to get the 36 site one which only costs $0.01 more. It should have a bigger res, I should have gotten that one, I didnt because 36 is way more than I'll ever need to clone and I dont have tons of extra growspace. But hindsight is always 20/20

Hey thanks B3rny, As far as the red/purple stems (on the Tahoe OG) that's just one of the characteristics of the strain. Maybe has something to do with why it's such a bitch to clone? This Tahoe OG's stems are really woody, yet weak and flimsy at the same time. And Very Very Very Very long inter-node spacing, im running the first round right now and  <- thats how I keep looking when I see how spacy she is. Hopefully I get some kind of yield off her... more than enough for a blunt hahaha

I think you may have something there, the Ak's I'm running had the same characteristic... though it simply could not have been a deficiency.. they grew perfectly, praying almost 99% of the time and had nice healthy, dark green foliage. Only the thing is they also had the red-ish color stems (that remain) and also had very woody bases, only they were super strong/stiff. I almost thought they wouldn't root since they were so strong, even the sharpest scissors seemed to smash 'em so I cut 'em with a razor. Then, behold, they rooted all at exactly the same time, consistently/very vigorously but it took 12 days exactly... a far cry from my usual rooting times. They're in flower now and doing well. I'm sure that's just the pine tree smellin' pheno I got though because I usually read that Ak47 is very easy to root (and it was, but not as quick as others I've tried. That's the first one I've popped though.)

"Cloning" is a strange science... I bet the 1st person to ever root a cutting was burned at the stake for witchcraftery, lol.

You might wanna try a cycle timer to shut ur pump off for a bit every 20 - 30 mins. Cuts Way down on rez temp and makes them 'search' for more water .. thus sprouting faster.

Looking good Cannaman, I've been using veg lights up to the 2-3 week of flower... seems to save electricity with now effect on the flower production that I can notice. When do you start counting your days in flower?

From the day I flip them to 12/12. I keep them on a Veg nute mix until the growth has stagnated and the plant really starts to switch to flowering, then I change to a bloom mix. It's all the same stuff though nutrient wise, just diff amounts.

My lights are dual spectrum, 600HPS/400MH in 1 1,000W bulb. Pimp shit lol

I topped my berry bombs and put the tops into a dome to try out the theory someone else suggested a while back about putting the clones into total darkness to push roots out. /shrug it should at least boost them into flower mode and show me the sex even if they don't root. I need to look back at the length of time he suggested though, I'm thinking he said two days?.? I put them into a closet area I originally made for flowering bit the ventilation wasn't too good and it got too hot, so now I guess it is my clone closet, lol.

I'm glad to see your Tahoe finally rooted that's exciting!!

lol making your own cloner costs 10 bucks. Get a 5 gallon bucket, a small baking tray. Sponges. Put the cutting in tap water for 24 hours you should see roots forming. Stick the cutting, after the darkness, into the sponges. Put the sponges floating in water and tie them down with shoe laces. Put the tray in the 5 gallon bucket and put a large bag over the top, put the light sitting on the bag. Batabing, batabang, you have a 10 dollar cloner with 95% accuracy... Shits not very hard people... but I guess you guys are not stoner-macguyvers so I wont look down upon all of you ashamed.

....>>>!!!!!!!!!putting cutting in tap water in 100% darkness for 24-48 hours roots clones in about a week maybe a little more... Dont believe me try it!!!!!!!!!<<<....

Oh I am trying it ;).
