Right now, my opinion is that Animal cookies is the superior GSC. Original cookies flavor with much better yield.
 
I saw animal cookie cuts locally before but now no more. I'm keeping my eyes pealed For that cut. I'm only running my cut of gsc one more time then dumping it because of its lack of yield. Iv debated doing a cross with the cut I have but I think I'd rather hold off till I find an animal cookies cut or a high yielding cookies cut.
 
I have a different opinion. I tried the Animal Cookies. Tested at 21% THC by SC Laboratories.http://www.sclabs.com/sample-details.html?task=sample&sample=120726L019 This is the exact same batch I smoked. I also have a cross of it, real deal. The GSC was not tested but was far better than the Animal. GSC on average tests higher than the Animal Cookies. I'm hoping the GSC cut I have is good because it's not the same fire cut that I smoked. I also would not be looking for other cuts or seeds. It's a low yielder and that's that. Maybe with some good selective breeding you can make it a decent yielder. Trust me on this one, you want the GSC that I pictured above and no other. Get the ICmag cut.
 
Wow what a hyped up strain!A hell lot of money in this business!Was interesting to look how you Americans hype and pay thousands for cuts lol but still a lot of ripping of and black market shit, guess it would be the same in Europe.Well what I wanted to know is, how do you grow em cookies out?I'll be getting the GSC x Trainwreck from Cannaventure and since they're untested I will just check some Trainwreck and GSC grows and see to what they respond well.

Oh and to do some bud porn contribution I thought I might post Cannaventures cut (I think the one used in the cross) its 4th week into flowers, pics from a forum.Pretty nice resin for 4th week.
I know there are quite a lot of fake Girl Scout Cookie clones making their rounds, especially in Cali... I know alot of the "fakes" are actually Fortune Cookies, (supposedly)...And I believe that the people that have the fakes, really arent lying, they just believe that they really have The real GS Cookies clone..Alot of people paid 500 to 1K dollars, and what they got was Fortune Cookies... It sucks.. But we are all used to the mislabeling of "Elite" clones that make their way around The Club scenes..

Here are a few pics of The real Girl Scout Cookies clone..She is about 4 or so weeks into Bloom... Super easy plant to grow... Cookies has a nice healthy stretch, but the stems are still strong and thick.....The buds start out the gate rock hard, dense nugs....with plenty of trich production.... This supposed "Elite" cut, that has had so much Hype around it, actually suprised me...It really is as good or better than what we've all been hearing..I really wasn't expecting so much frost, so early on..

In short... IMO.... Its a Keeper.....

There's only ONE gsc

Animal is not a "gsc pheno", it's a separate polyhybrid cross of gsc x Fire OG

Man when will you learn. People with the right connections can and have gotten there hands on REAL gsc seeds not bagseed like you keep saying. Yes we know animal cookies is a poly hybrid... He was saying he thinks it's better than gsc.

There are multiple REAL gsc phenos get it thought your head
 
any word on the current cuts at harborside? aka are they what they claim they are/anybody know what specific cuts they are?

my Cherry pies are doing incredible, but the DHN Cookies i picked up from them a couple weeks ago is slow as shit....the SCM gsc are pretty slow growing too but faster than the DHN.

Repeating something doesn't make it a fact. You have no idea what I'm growing so no need for you to pretend you do. We get it, some random person told you GSC is clone only and you made the choice to believe them. Guess what? That means exactly nothing to me.

GSC is not clone only but there is a pheno of it that is straight fire and blows everything else away that's GSC. That particular pheno is clone only. I'm guessing it's close to around 23%-25%THC. It sounds confusing but I hope I'm making sense. Also be careful getting Cherry Pie or GSC, they all seem to carry broadmites.

Perhaps that's what MedFX is talking about. Anytime you plant a bunch of unstable seeds you end up with different phenos, as we all know. When one of those turns out to be really good, and chances of finding it again or breeding it again are slim, then you get clone only. So while there are GSC seeds out there, maybe there are a couple of cuts that are extraordinarily good, and thus clone only.

Just thinking out loud...

Yeah, that's the thing with GSC, it's not that there are lots of crosses out there, but there are actually superior phenos. The thin mint pheno is not a cross, just an elite PHENO of GSC. You don't have phenotypes in clone only strains.

The thin mint pheno is a really strong, but low yielding phenotype of GSC. He's mistaking the fact that this pheno of GSC is the most popular going around, so it's a clone only strain. Well that's really just one pheno.

Right. But that's how it is with every "clone only" strain. The best pheno that cannot be easily reproduced. You are right in that there are no phenos in clone only. It's the other way around. Clone only strains are an elite pheno of any particular strain. In the beginning, every strain starts from seed.

Perhaps Med FX should say that the GSC Thin Mints pheno is clone only.

Correct. Thin Mints are a clone only PHENO, GSC is a strain that can be produced from seeds. This crap about everyone claiming to have "the one true GSC! Every other cut is a fake" is just ignorant nonsense.
