Hey all... ok so if anyone can help me out here. I have a random plant here (dont know strain) and this is my first time. I have had alot of issues with bugs, ups an downs with other things during this trial. But to say the least she has made it through it. Hopefully...
This is outside in potted soil, been going since may.
Now im pretty close to harvest, but now the cola is getting all brown and dead in between the layers. I dont know what it is, but the weather here was real hot an humid all summer. But has dropped in temp and humidity the last few days, 80ish high, 60 low. so im pretty nervous that it might be
Bud Rot, or something bad. I tried getting a decent pic. Please if anyone has any answers id appreciate it!

It looks like it.

Do those brown leaves just pull off? You can cut it out but you have to be careful to not spread the spores,ie. clean anything you use with rubbing alcohol and wash your hands before touching healthy plants. Serenade might help keep it from spreading.

Crap man, uggh this sucks.. 4+ months down the drain if thats the case. Yea when i pull on the dark leaves, some pulled off fairly easy, and others were much harder to pull. I was messing with it earlier, hopefully i didn't shake things up too much. So budrot, is it like a fungus that spreads? Also, does that mean that that bud is no good? Thanks for taking a look and your input

unfortunately there done for, its mold that starts in the center of the bud and works its way outwards.. usually too much moisture around the buds.. I wouldnt consume

Yea it was really humid here up until these past few days, so moisture is def a factor in my case.. some of those dark leaves were crunchy dry, which at first i was hoping meant it wasn't any sort of rot, just some burn or dying leaves

Yes and look for a catapiller in it. They can cause that. Then wzsh up so your don't spread mold spores.
